I don't understand the reviews that complain about getting the wire caught and breaking while assembling. That has to be because they weren't paying attention to what they were doing! I had zero issues. My 9YO grandson actually put it together! Now, the lamp itself offers many color hues to soften the white light or go full on bright white light. I like that function and the remote is awesome by the way. So far I have one minor complaint that I hope doesn't turn into a major complaint....the goose neck could stand to be stronger? It is very very easy to adjust so I hope it stays strong enough to hold itself in place. So far it works great! This works so much better than the clip on light I had to return because it stopped working after 2 weeks! ... show more

I purchased this lamp as a flexible light to be used while working on crafting and puzzles. It works quite well and is small & light enough to move wherever I need a little extra light. Extremely bright and flexible neck gets you just enough light wherever you need it. Has a dimmer as well as a light temperature (cool or warm) settings that are easy to adjust. Style is very minimal and can be placed in almost any setting and not be an eyesore. Base and overall build is sturdy and has stood up well. So, all I needed was a LED floor lamp, of a certain height. The fact that this one came with multiple lighting settings and a remote, I thought was over the top. After some use, now I think those are fantastic features and extremely useful. The remote provides several buttons to change both the light intensity and color to suit the task e.g. reading, computer, night etc. Really makes a difference. Overall this is a great product for the price. It is bright, controllable, consistent, and looks OK. My only concern is the power supply wires (cannot really call this a chord it's very thin and fragile.) This is concerning since anything at all tugging on this or rolling over it or any kind of interaction with anything bigger than a gnat might cause a wire break or sever it altogether. The best thing you can do is some time and a few bucks into some cable management to help protect this itty bitty wire. ... show more

I bought this light because I moved into an apartment and needed a light in a smaller bedroom that didn’t have any light fixtures (I found it odd). I saw this and thought it was cheap enough and had multiple different lighting options to give it a try. When it was delivered I thought the box was heavier than expected. Opened it up and it surprised that the majority of the fixture was metal. The base was heavy and the pole was metal. The light cover for the bulb(s) is plastic and looks to be on the cheaper side but I don’t mind that. It is easily manipulated to the position needed and the lighting options is certainly a perk. The remote itself has a few options that automatic adjusts the lighting to your needs. We will be using the reading, work, and nighttime mode the most. It also has an hour timer. Which is nice since this will be in our child’s bedroom and he likes to sleep with the light on. Overall I think this is worth the $36 it was on sale for and believe it will last beyond its purpose. ... show more

It has helpful light settings on the remote for mood lighting, Nightline, reading light, and more. I also like that you can adjust the brightness as well. It was straightforward to assemble. If you're anything like me, your house is dark. At one time, it was vibrant and teeming with happiness and people. Now, it's a husk, a mere shell, rife with darkness, loneliness, and other sad "-ness"es. So, naturally, I thought some lights might be good. I bought three different kinds (I'll have reviews for them all eventually) and this by far is the most useful for my painting desk. It can be adjusted to point any direction you desire - onto your miniatures, onto your walls, or even onto your sad, guilt-ridden face. It has a remote as well, which I much prefer to the buttons on the lamp itself. Those buttons aren't bad, but the lamp is positioned where it's not the easiest thing to get to. And the remote came with batteries. I really like this thing. It's got a bajillion settings, like dimness, warm/cool color options, and some presets. It's really quite illuminating.
