The media could not be loaded. This is the coolest little USB light you will ever come across. It's in the form factor of an Edison light with the power of the energy efficient LED lights. The glass is injection molded, which means very little to zero defects for the most clear and transparent qualities. This LED bulb can operate on 5v and .5a minimum. I would recommend 5v 2a simply because it will get brighter. At the top of the bulb. You will notice a little coil. That coil is actually a touch sensitive sensor. One touch turns it off and on. A touch and hold dims and brightens the LEDs. The fact that you could plug this into any USB and light up an area pretty bright for such a small bulb, is pretty incredible. I have mine in my bedroom plugged into my USB hub on my nightstand. It gives a very bright glow at its brightest setting and a nice dim glow for night time, which is what I use it for. It stays on all night without getting hot. To be honest, it doesn't even get warm. It gives me enough light at the dimmest setting to find my way to the bathroom without tripping over the dogs and cats. I chose the blue light as it is easier on my eyes at night so I can see any obstacles in my way to the bathroom. I do plan on purchasing more of these. I would like to put one in my car for the backseat area. I want to illuminate that area for safety reasons. The applications for this USB light bulb are almost endless. As you can see from my video how easy it is to operate. In my video you could see that I have it plugged into an external power bank. Being that it is LEDs, it uses very low power and can be powered by a battery bank for quite some time. This is great for camping trips too! As you can see from the photo of the box, it comes in many different colors. The craftsmanship overall is outstanding. The look and feel of the LED bulb is solid. The feature of the touch to turn on, touch to turn off, press and hold to brighten, and press to hold to dim, is a very well thought out engineering point. Outstanding product. I would recommend this to my friends and family. I will be recommending this to my boy scout troop as well. I am an eagle scout and am a a boy scout troop leader. I am thinking about buying these for everyone in my troop with a solar-powered battery bank to have in their tents. I would definitely pick this up as soon as you can. It is well worth every penny and has infinite uses. Especially because you could pick the color you want!

When I ordered this, I wasn’t exactly sure what I’d use it for. After receiving it and playing with it for a few hours, I came up with all kinds of ideas. For now it’s plugged into the outlet in my bathroom, for those late night pee runs. Much better than turning on the bright vanity lights and blinding myself in the middle of the night. This puts out just enough light to see what you’re doing on the lowest setting. On the highest setting, I could almost get ready for work with just this light. The photos below show the lowest and highest brightness settings. I also plan to bring this along on any overnight camping trips this summer. Having the ability to quickly plug this into a power bank and have a portable lantern is awesome. This will be perfect for in my hammock at night before I close my eyes for the night. It’s also useful in vehicles as another lighting source. My son was able to use it as a reading light on a late night drive back home. The operation of the light is very simple and straightforward. You can turn the light on and off by touching the end, where you see the coil of wire. You can also hold your finger here to adjust the brightness. Just release your finger once you’ve found the desired brightness. Overall this is a neat little light that is highly versatile. It offers great value for the price and should be useful in countless situations. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

I'm giving this five stars because it's exactly as described, but the uses for this light could be limited. I got the green version, but because green tends to be perceived as brighter than other colors, even when dimmed it is pretty bright. I tried using it plugged into my PC and my USB charger on my desktop, but it was too bright and distracting to be directly in my view. The best use so far seems to be having it plugged into the USB port on the back of my PC monitor as using it as indirect lighting. However, that means you can't see the neat light bulb design. The touch on/off and dimming mechanism work fine. It seems well made. I would be hesitant to use it in my car because it's so bright. I'm guessing the red and purple colors would be a little dimmer, but another review said that the red color is also bright. I think because of the style of light, there's a limit to how dim it can get and still operate. If you have a use for this, it should work well, but if you're just looking for a functional USB light, there are probably other designs that are better.

This is a nice little USB light. It looks interesting and is pretty useful. It's about 2.5 inches from top to bottom. It's seems like it might be actual glass for the bottle, so I'd be very careful with it. Not sure how durable it is. I haven't had one of these break, yet. It works plugged into a powered USB-A port, such as a laptop/PC or portable battery pack. As far as the brightness goes, it's relatively bright for the color. I had ordered the red version of the light. Being red, it isn't as bright as some of the other color varieties, which is what I wanted. The top has a sensor on it to press and turn it on and off. Pressing and holding it will either dim or brighten it. It keeps the last setting when plugged into power, but resets when there's no power. It's a good light. I've had others just like this. As for the price, it is a little high, considering that I've been able to get USB lights like this for a bit less. I can see it being a better value if this were to be on sale or something like that. But if not, I think the value is a little on the lower side. However, the light does work great, it looks neat, and it's exactly what I was expecting.
