Attractive design, I like the 'flame' look when you have the light on. It's not going to rock the neighborhood, volume-wise, but it's great for low-volume background music while sitting outside enjoying an evening.

I had a different brand torch speaker but one of my family wanted it so I gave it to them and ordered this one. A few things: 1. Torch light is all movement or none. The other speaker I had you had three movement options, still, slow flicker, fast flicker. This has off and on. That's it. 2. Volume control is not on the speaker. You have to adjust the volume from your phone or device. The +/- on this speaker is to forward to next song or go back to previous. The other speaker I had - they were volume controls (and it had skip buttons). If none of this is important to you, the sound is decent enough. I recommend setting your equalizer on your phone or device for optimal sound.

In the summers, my neighbors and I like to get together for a happy hour. One of the challenges has been the batter life and lighting. This speaker doesn't give a lot of light but it creates a nice atmosphere with the flame light. In terms of battery life, I have been surprised. We usually start the happy hour around 6 or 7 and go until 12 / 1am and I haven't had any issues with this speaker. It gives a decent sound and holds a good charge. I will throw the caveat that the sound doesn't compare to some of the $150-200 Bluetooth speakers, but it does the job while getting pretty loud. In terms of volume control, I am able to control it either by the speak or my phone which makes things a little easier.
