I wanted a little mat to put outside a tent for my daughter who is camping in a tent at her summer camp. This is definitely cute and just a little bugger than a placemat. Perfect for this purpose. HOWEVER< the one that arrived was slightly used, with a few pulls and the remnants of a "Not to be removed except by consumer" tag dangling from the edge and a few random pet hairs. So we know it was not new. Since we only wanted it for camp, the environmental toll of a return seemed wasteful, we just decided to keep it and give it a good wash. Perfect size for the area I needed it to fit. I do wish however that it had a backing to it. That would help with the rug not wanting to slide and help with absorbency. After each use it has to be hung up so that it doesn’t make the floor underneath wet. Thankfully I live by myself so it’s not a huge issue, but for more than one person I feel like it would have to be hung up all day long. ... show more

This is my second rug I have two different colors. I like them but take care when washing. Do NOT was two different colors together as the rug will shed in washer/dryer at first. Best to dry 50% and then hang dry the rest.

    • Not as nice to use as other bathmat materials, color faded a lot.

I like the look of these bathmats a lot but they're just not as good as a chenille or more common bathmat material. They don't absorb as well, don't stay as soft, aren't as easy to clean, and the color fades a lot after a few washes and regular use. They will stay wet for a long time if several people bathe close together and more water gets on them. They get sort of trampled down and flattened very quickly, even after being "revived" through being washed. In the washer they do fine, but, like others', part of mine unraveled itself and got messed up in the dryer. Also, the color fades a lot. I've had mine a few months short of a year and ordered the honey gold color, which was true to photos, but now it is more of a washed-out yellow. They might be better as a rug in front of the kitchen sink where it will get less traffic than a bathmat. ... show more
