I am using the KVM switch on my home office area to use two twenty-four-inch monitors with my home pc and my work laptop. The KVM is a nice-looking piece of equipment the case is metal, and it is well designed. The remote-control feature sets it apart from other models in the same price range. I work with technology for a living, but I can honestly say that it is truly plug and play. In the box there are (4) HDMI cables, (2) USB cables, remote control, power adapter and the instruction manual. You will need to use your existing HDMI cables to connect your monitors to the KVM switch. The only issue that I ran into is that my Logitech Gaming mouse lost the ability to use its extra buttons. I had a hunch that it had something to do with the USB input on the rear of the KVM. Plugging the mouse in the USB 2.0 port resolved the issue. I like the features the performance of the KVM switch and a bonus that it looks cool on my desk. ... show more

I'm using the DIGITNOW Dual Monitor KVM Switch to connect a Desktop PC and a Macbook Pro. The desktop is for personal use and the Macbook is used for work. I work from home and my desktop space isn't big enough to have separate mouse, monitor, and keyboard for both computers. I found that the solution as delivered had everything I needed to set up and work with both computers, though I had already purchased a port expander for the Macbook allowing me to utilize the USB and HDMI cables that came with the kit. The lengths and quality have worked well with my set up, which includes a 32 inch Samsung 1080P monitor, Logitec Carbon IGX Brown RGB Mechanical Keyboard, and a Logitec G502 Hero RGB Mouse. Both mouse and keyboard are connected to the KVM via USB. As stated, installation was easy. Switching between computers is fast. My previous KVM was very slow lighting up the mouse and keyboard when I switched from the PC to the Mac. Previous KVM was USB powered only. That may have been a factor. I also had to go into the settings on the monitor as output from the KVM caused the image from both computer to be oversized. As a result I had to set the monitor to "Screen Fit" When I was hooked up directly or through the old KVM, I didn't experience this issue, easy as it was to resolve. Overall, my initial impressions are that it does what was advertised. Supports Mac and Windows (Linux to), Mechanical Gaming Keyboards, and mice. I haven't taken advantage of the programmable hot keys, sound from each computer or driving a second monitor. I'll update as I continue using the DigitNow! KVM. ... show more

Switching between monitors is unstable and unreliable. The KVM appears unable to keep track of what monitor is connected to what computer. I continually have to reboot KVM to reactivate and refresh the connections between computers and monitors. *Follow up to original review above - The company sent me another unit to try but I did have the same issue. However, I have to say the customer service provided was outstanding. They made every effort to help with my issue and follow up along the process. In my book, this is priceless and not often seen when purchasing products that don't fully meet expectations. Because of this focus on customer satisfaction I will definitely consider this supplier in future purchases. ... show more

Works much better than the TESmart KVM it replaced. Only 2 issues I noticed was it takes a bit of time to switch between PCs. Also when you switch back, it doesn't remember which monitor your windows were on, they all end up stacked on the primary monitor. I can live with those issues, but its why it only got 4 stars. ... show more

It's been a couple of days and so far it's working very well. I've been able to switch between my work and personal computer with ease, which is the primary purpose of a KVM switch for me. The only hiccup I've encountered is with audio. Audio from Input A is the only audio it accepts. My personal computer is on the older side and only has DVI to output for the monitors, so I have to prioritize that for the time being, and that means the KVM switch does not receive any kind of audio at all and I have to connect my speakers to that particular computer. The unfortunate thing is that my monitors really only enable DP and DVI input, so I can't get audio output from them either. My particular setup makes it so that this is all okay, but it is one thing that I miss about my old KVM. That all said, the monitor connections have been simpler and more consistent than my previous experience with another brand, so I expect I'll continue to be very happy with my choice here. ... show more

It was really hard to shop for one of these switches that had the right combo of features for what I needed. Specifically I needed something that would work with an HDMI > DisplayPort converter, two monitors, speakers, and a webcam It look me a long time to get it working, I eventually had to switch out all the HDMI cables that were provided with my own. Luckily I had 6 laying around! It creates a huge bundle of wires, so wire management is definitely needed. I wish it had one more USB slot because my speakers are USB powered, but I was able to plug those into a different power source and they still worked with the switch Overall I'm super happy with it, it's working like I need it to and I'm switching multiple times per day.     • FALSE ADVERTISING - DOES NOT SUPPORT EDID ON ALL COMPUTERS

I bought this switch because it advertised EDID support. I have two monitors and two computers connected to this KVM. When I switch inputs using the KVM, the windows get resized or pushed to a different screen, which is annoying because I have to readjust it back every time. I bought this primarily to be more efficient during work, but it is becoming a bit of a hassle. EDID is supposed make it such that the windows and icons do not get rearranged when switching between computers. Clearly, this switch does not support EDID despite advertising it as such. UPDATE: I upgraded my computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on my personal PC, and now it works better. I can't do the upgrade to my work computer, so the problem still persists on that end.
