Easy to use

It’s a nice tool, for fun.

Worth the price!
Color: Yellow
...This meter seems to be very sensitive... registering speeds from 1-mile an hour...had it up to 30mph in the truck...and at that speed it makes a loud whirring sound...so not really sure how high it can go...but I got it to tell me safe wind speeds for flying my camera-drone...so I'm happy with it!...I agree with others that the backlight could stay on longer...but that is a small complaint...Overall it has worked well so far!

Close to accurate but good value for the money
Color: Yellow
After doing a bunch of tests, it seems to be consistently showing 10% lower than actual wind speed. I measured up to 25mph and down as low as 2mph. But this is a budget item and not a precision instrument, so the value for dollar is pretty good. It's easy to use. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I use this for some sort of scientific field work? Probably not, I'd get one that's more accurate. But for sports/recreation where you need to know wind speed and temp, this thing can't be beat.

Works well
Color: Yellow
I use it for HVAC work. Is good to tell when it's time to change air filters that are not easy to get at.

Works amazing. Great price.
I’m amazed how well this works. I fly kites a couple times a week and have used a non electric wind speed tool. This is much more accurate and very easy to use. I find that the ONLY complaint is that the temperature is only able to be displayed in Celsius.

NOt accurate
Color: Yellow
This thing is no where near accurate. Flags are blowing straight out and hair blown back. So, my experience say 11 -13 mph. The anemometer says 4.5-5.7 mph. The thermometer seems accurate but that's not why I bought the thing.

Accurate and affordable, but the battery drain is a real hassle
Color: Gray
The anemometer itself is solid accurate readings, easy to use, and priced well. But it drains it's CR2032 battery even when switched off, which is a frustrating design oversight. Making it worse, removing the battery requires unscrewing the case, so pulling it out between uses quickly becomes more trouble than it's worth. If the off switch that actually cuts power or an easily accessible battery compartment would make this a easy recommendation. As it stands, budget for extra batteries and a screwdriver.
