This little indoor temperature monitor is a real find! It's accurate, easy to read, with very good connectivity and no negatives! I use it to monitor the temperature in my greenhouse, which is full of adeniums that suffer when the temperature goes below 60 degrees. With this monitor I can keep an eye on the greenhouse temperature and turn up the heat if need be, without having to go all the way out to the greenhouse itself! ... show more

This is quite the interesting hydrometer. Its much smaller than I expected (all of these temperature and hydrometers are really small I guess) but despite it size, it packs a punch! The temperature and humidity display updates pretty much on the spot. While most hydrometers update over the course of 10 to 20 seconds, this thing updates even when there is so much as an incredibly slight change to the temperature. This means, if the temperature goes up or down by 0.1 degrees, itll tell you the second it happens. Pretty impressive! Although, I do have to wonder how this will affect battery longevity over time. The best thing about this device is that it is bluetooth, and can connect to your phone via the Govee app, which unlocks this devices true potential. While some features are locked off, needing an account to be created, most of the good stuff doesn't need an account to be accessed and utilized. In the app, you can see how the temperature and humidity trends over the course of the past hour, or the past day, or how it trended over the past week, month, and year! You can see the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity that was reached in that room, including the average temperature and humidity too. Interestingly, this thing can also figure out or be able to read the current dew point. I'm sure this could be important for greenhouses and reptile enclosures, but if youre just putting this in a bedroom or something similar, you probably wont get much use out of it. The other thing its able to read is something called VPD. Im not sure what that is or why its important to be measured, but apparently it has something to do with moisture. I'm sure it could be important to someone! The device can also be manually calibrated in the app as well. Always handy! The device does have some flaws though, most of the flaws stem from the features on the app primarily. One of its advertised features is to be able to alert you when the humidity or temperature goes above or below a certain point set by you, if you choose to enable it. Well, this has happened a couple times in the brief period that I had it and didn't get notified until I opened up the app. Not exactly the best feature if it doesn't even alert you. I'm sure this could potentially be fixed with a software update, however. The other problem is, the bluetooth range. its advertised at being 260 feet. It doesnt feel like it. The device is in my bedroom, and the living room is not far from my bedroom at all, and it has trouble establishing a connection to sync data. Not entirely sure whats going on there but its definitely a problem for me. The final issue I have with it is relatively minor. On the display itself, it shows the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity the device read in that area. I had thought it was a measurement of the maximum and minimum readings over the course of the past 24 hours. It is not. It is the maximum and minimum temperature its recorded of all time. So it never resets. I thought maybe it was a setting, or at least an option in the app but it isnt. Its not a deal breaker, but seeing how hot or cold it got two years ago is not as valuable as being able to see how hot or cold it got a few hours ago, in my opinion. Despite the criticisms, this is still a great thermometer and hydrometer, especially with how fast the display updates. If your looking for any kind of hydrometer, and need it to be bluetooth for whatever, Definitely consider this device! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It is really simple and clear for what it is intended to be. The display and the size are just perfect, small but big enough to be able to read it. I got it to see what temperature and humidity both of my rooms are, so it seems that it is the correct one, but I don't have a way to know for sure. It's pretty handy that it comes with a pack of two and you can use the app to see everything. The app is super easy to use even for my spouse who is not a big tech. The only little problem that I see is that you cannot see the display at all when is dark because it doesn't come with a bright display. The Govee Indoor Hygrometer Thermometer is a reliable and affordable device for monitoring the indoor climate. The LCD display provides instant readings of temperature and humidity levels. I'm using it to help maintain the right temperature for our wine cooler. Which is perfect because as I was taking pictures for this review I saw that the temp was too high, one of the kids had turned the temp gauge all the way down. I currently don't have a specific use for the other one so it's just sitting in the porch. The device appears to be pretty accurate, I have been using a non wireless thermometer as well and the temp displays are the same, I didn't think to take that picture. One standout feature is its smart connectivity, allowing you to sync it with your smartphone through the Govee Home app. This enables remote monitoring and alerts, ensuring you're always aware of your indoor climate.
