It's better than the one I have from years ago, however the Night Vision portion has a problem that they infrared light is not adjustable. This is a problem because it washes out what you need to see. You have to look around the bright light. If it was adjustible, you could fix this. Great night Vision goggles. there are three Modes night Vision to choose from. Colored for night with low street light. B/W for lower light or no light. At B/W mode, user can turn on IR light to enhance the Vision. This is my first night Vision goggle, I really can't figure out how to use it. and user's manual is written in the way for people who has basic ideas about how the goggle works. *Update* (Below this update is my original review) The Seller reached out to me after I posted the review below. The Seller was insistent that I received a defective product, and, without making any requests of the Seller, I was sent another pair of goggles. Sure enough the goggles I just received from the Seller has a much clearer image and the “color night vision” makes it almost appear as if it’s daylight. I’ve also noticed the stability is noticeably better, but, a tripod is necessary to achieve a truly stable image. Most importantly the TF card slot works in the pair of goggles I just received. I appreciate the Seller’s attentiveness to reviews, and then sending another pair of goggles. It’s some of the best customer service I have encountered on Amazon. You can read my original review below, but these goggles definitely went from a 3 star product to a 5 star after using a pair that was not defective. Also, 5 star customer support! Original Review: This product has lots of issues and needs to be more consistent. 1. this product might improve with a software/firmware update, but nothing in the manual discusses performing firmware updates. This is odd because the on-screen menu can view the current software version. This would make me think an upgrade would be possible. 2. Neither the box, the manual, nor the physical goggles have a brand name. This makes searching for information on these goggles besides their Amazon page impossible. 3. The Googles came with a 32GB TF card that the Goggles could not recognize. I took out the TF card and used my computer to determine that the TF card partition scheme is MBR (not GPT), and the active portion was formatted using FAT32. I attempted to replace the TF card with one I had on hand, and I used the same partitioning scheme and format, and the Goggles still did not detect that a TF card was inserted. Thus, a prompt always asks me to insert a TF card whenever the Goggles are powered on. ... show more

I took this with me for bird watching. I will say that these works great during the day or night. It just has that extra night vision option. The brown frame design give you a bit of blending in with nature so you are not spotted as easily. These binoculars are not too heavy so they can be easy to carry around. It has a simple drawstring bag to hold this which is a bit disappointed as other give you a hard case. It is charged via type c cable which is provided but no wall plug. One minor complaint is that this really does get a bunch of dust and dirt stuck on the material. The instruction book was actually stuck to this for some reason. I am not sure if it is due to packaging or heat. For the most part, the binoculars are very sturdy. The lens are not super thin so you do not have to worry about breaking them. The buttons are in the center and fairly easy to press. It does have straps to help you hold the binoculars so you do not have to worry about it easily slipping out of your hands. This is definitely not a device I would want to drop. The device and buttons feel pretty solid. I was able to learn the button comes and get used to them pretty quickly. I do like the fact they have a recording function it does come with a 32 gb memory card card which is preinstalled already. I did open it in order to verify the card. It is the correct memory size. One thing to note about these is that the lens are not the same on both sizes. One side is deeper than the other but that is because it has different functions to enhance your experience. It does give you a clearer image than your usual binoculars and the night vision is not bad. The night vision is nice but be careful not to point this at any kind of light when the night vision is on as it is pretty blinding. I do like the fact that you do get a screen to view the image on so you do not have to put your eyes super close to the viewer. The controls for taking pictures are easy to access. I really love the image quality. It has good in the image. Overall this is a really good device to have if you are the type of person to go out into the wilderness. It gives you plenty of different options to use during the day or night. The camera is solid and this is a very durable device. It does take time to get used to how the controls work so take your time. The photo quality is amazing and stores pretty quickly to my micro sd card. The carrying case could be better though. My two complaints are that the material is easy to get dirty and dust sticks to it pretty easily. Also that the instructions are bit outdated as most of the stuff it tells you to install is already done. ... show more

So, there are anchor points for a strap, and you will probably want one. The unit is a bit unwieldy, and I struggled to master the controls. Once you get the hang of it, the unit works very well. The unit relies on red light, so this is not going to go unnoticed if you are using it in public places. Imaging is a little grainy, and the device seems geared more towards recording than observation. Still, this is a good starter night sight setup. ... show more
