Great night Vision goggles. there are three Modes night Vision to choose from. Colored for night with low street light. B/W for lower light or no light. At B/W mode, user can turn on IR light to enhance the Vision. This is my first night Vision goggle, I really can't figure out how to use it. and user's manual is written in the way for people who has basic ideas about how the goggle works. I contact the customer support, they are great. They answered all my questions. User's manual need improvement. ... show more

Decent for the price. Very good IR lighting. Very clear on mode 3. Would recommend as a budget pair of NV binoculars.

Pros: Autofocus Rechargeable Digital Night Vision 16X Zoom FHD 3” Display Screen Photo / Video Compatible Multi-Purpose Starlight Full Color Cons: Auto Focus Is Iffy No Manual Focus No Storage Pouch What I received in the package: 1 x IXIEEX Night Vision Goggles 1 x USB TYPE-C Charging Cable 1 x 32GB SD Card 1 x User Manual This IXIEEX Night Vision Goggles product comes with autofocus and 16X zoom. With a viewing range of up to 1968’ it has excellent range and clarity. It is equipped with an 850nm IR Illuminator. Which means you are able to observe your surroundings even in total darkness. The starlight full color is FHD with 1920x1080 resolution and a max of 10 MP for pictures. The goggles also come with an 8000 mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery. You are able to playback video or review photos directly from the display. These goggles can be used in either during the day or at night. In testing, I found that the auto focus feature was not very reliable. The goggles do not appear to auto focus as you move the goggles around in the viewing area. It only seems to attempt auto focus after you zoom in or out. Also, the auto focus only works about 50% of the time. Some times it does work and other times it does not focus correctly. Since these are autofocus .. there is no way I can find to manually focus the lens. As with most IR lights, when you are too tight or too close to your subject it ends up washing out the photo or video. Which in itself is not ideal. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, Most of the features work with issue with the exception of the one feature this product really needed to get right. It failed my testing protocols and did not perform in a reliable nature. Unfortunately, I recommend that you do your research. There are many competitors out there that offer similar products for right around the same price point. While the camera overall works decently, I guess I was expecting more. Crisper and cleaner photos. But this just didn’t seem to be able to offer that clean resolution I was hoping for. Hope this information was helpful. [3 Stars] ... show more

This binocular/NV is interesting, but the NV itself will not show what is in the dark without the IR illuminator, which produces an extremely bright "hot spot", as you can see in the pics. The daytime color screen binocular function is pretty cool and it allows pictures and video recording, which is something that most high end NV equipment does NOT do. The IR illuminator will allow you to easily see objects up to 60 yards away, which is the maximum distance I was able to get up to, without going onto a street with ambient light. The last photo is without the IR illuminator, which had some small solar driveway lights I used for illumination. You can see how gritty the picture got and lack of clarity and definition. When I viewed the IR illumination through my PVS14's, it was like you were a Christmas tree, fully giving away your position. So these would not be used for anything other than fun, backyard or recreational use. And they are fun. I've had cheaper NV optics before and these are by far the best I've seen for the money. But I would barely rate them as Gen 1, requiring strong IR illumination to give you any clarity at night. Fun to watch critters, but if you're doing anything where people are looking for you, they'll find you using these really quickly with the spotlight IR it has on it! This has got cool factor all over it. This bino set looks like it came off a Star Wars set. The screen in the flat end of the binos is clear and the color definition is great. At twilight, the light amplification is awesome and the color is vivid. If you are looking at birds nesting in a tree as darkness creeps in, these really bring that into focus. In near total darkness, there is no light amplification. The binos will be dark until you turn on the IR light. This invisible beam will "light" up the screen and give you a black and white view of the world in the dark. I wish my pics of this device in use would do it justice. This is a neat device. It's lightweight, rechargable via USB-C and manually focus adjustable. It isn't a "true" night vision device. Its a low light camera system that's really good. Its also an IR illuminator that's really good. It can take still pics and video too. Both of these features make this a great buy. The one thing it truly isn't is truly light amplifying night vision googles as in a civilian version of the military application. ... show more
