The media could not be loaded. This is actually a 2nd kitchen scale I got because the one I currently have has too small of a surface area and there was a delay with getting a weight reading with it. I was annoyed so decided to try this one out and I have to say, I'm really impressed and can totally see a difference in quality!! The features are standard with a tare function and another button to change the units. What sets it apart from other scales is how FAST it registers the weight. Nice, simple design; flat. appears would be easy to clean and store I like the larger red digital number display - much easier to read; the ease of converting to different units of measure. They seem quite accurate. also liked that batteries were included - at least to get you started. Very reasonably priced My only question or bewilderment: to calibrate the scale you are instructed to place "a known 5000 gram item" .... that's 11.023 pounds. Perhaps in China something common in households comes in 5000 grams. So I hope that not calibrating the unit doesn't interfere with its use and worth. I did some rough comparisons and found the scales to be accurate. ... show more

    • Accurate and lightweight
This is a simple and easy to use scale. I like that it can easily convert between different units, so makes it easy to follow British or American recipes. The scale itself is light weight and takes very little storage space. You can easily move it around. The underside is smooth plastic, but the surface has a polished metallic feel. It looks stylish on the counter. I tried comparing measurements with an older machine and it is accurate. Overall a very useful gadget to have in the pantry, especially while baking. ... show more

    • I had high hopes for this scale. Big letdown
update: this scale is TRASH. it’s now ruined TWO recipes by shutting off midweigh. Every time I use it it gets glitchier. This scale is disappointing. I literally had to TAPE the back battery lid to get it to stay closed. The “zero” button is glitchy and works about half the time. For cleaning it’s wipeable with a damp cloth at best but flour gets stuck on the aforementioned tape. As for the accuracy I can’t say for certain because I don’t have another scale to compare it with. ... show more

    • You Might Aswell Guess With Your Eyes
At first, it was just the buttons that were annoying. I couldn’t figure out if I needed to be pressing lightly, or smashing the button down to get a response. It started with the power button, then the ‘zeroing’ button. Now I can’t zero out at all. Then came finding out that the thing isn’t even accurate. When weighing things out (multiple things, multiple times) Every reading came out with different results. Considering I’m using this to measure my pets food, it’s sucks to have a machine just make an ‘accurate’ GUESS. I feel like I might aswell figure it out myself with measuring spoons and do all the conversions myself. If a scale can’t do its ONLY job; it’s a waste of money. This morning after only 2 months of owning it, there was an error message and it now doesn’t even turn on. Switched out the batteries, gave it time, tried different pressures on the damn power button. (Which I shouldn’t have had to do in the first place when it was new anyway) Nothing. And now I can’t even return it and get my money back. 👎🏽 Get a different scale. Just pay the few extra dollars for a reputable one. Now I wish I did 😂 ... show more

    • A great food scale that's very easy to use!
I lost my old kitchen scale and purchased this as a replacement. It works very well, has a hardened glass surface so it can be easily cleaned, and is extremely to use. The TARE button is right there so you can quickly put a plate on the scale and zero it for adding something to weigh. The units of measure are also easy to access! I like it a lot and would recommend this scale to anyone! ... show more

This scale fit all the things I was looking for. It's thin and has no extra platform or bowls, so it takes up very little space. I stand it up in an open cubby in my kitchen for easy access. I wanted something simple to use, so when someone else uses it, I don't have to explain it to them. This one is super-simple with only 3 easy-to-read buttons. And I wanted something with numbers big enough to see well. As an added bonus, the scale was very reasonably priced, so I'm happy with my purchase. It is a super practical and compact scale, it is easy to use, you can change the unit measure. I’m on a diet right now so I used this scale to weigh my food so I like that the material is super easy to clean, it came with the batteries what I think is a plus, I am really happy with this purchase.
