Incredible Value. Decent case. Good Materials. Can recommend.
For the purposes of this review, I am going to compare these to my Mitutoyo 500-196-30 Digimatic Calipers, which are the GOLD STANDARD for 6" calipers. On one hand, it's not a fair comparison because of the huge price difference between the two. The Mitutoyos are around $150 while these are around 10x less. However, these calipers compare surprisingly favorably to the much more expensive mitutoyos, so I don't feel bad comparing them in the end. Ill start off by saying the the Mitutoyos do have a slightly better fit and finish right out of the gate, though the Vofauiss is still pretty good in this regard. The lcd screen protector on the Mitutoyos is borosilicate glass which will resist scratches better than the plastic LCD cover of the Vofauiss. Ok that's about it. In every other readily apparent regard, these Vofauiss seem to be surprisingly at least equal to the Mitutoyos. As you can see in the pictures I have uploaded, upon testing both calipers on the same object, they both had exactly the same reading. Impressive. Additionally, Both are made from stainless steel, which is great. The Vofauiss actually has more steel components. The housing that the LCD and battery are in is metal on this pair and plastic on the mitutoyos. Also the screen is larger on this unit than the Mitutoyos, which I consider a plus. Unlike the Mitutoyos, these will automatically power off after a set duration, presumably to preserve battery life (although the Mitutoyo battery still lasts ages even if left on), and these will also automatically power back on the moment you start moving them around. On the Mitutoyos I have to press the power button to turn them off and back on each time I use them or put them away. Not a big deal, but a nice touch on the Vofuaiss. Though in an assembly line setting where they were being used all day long everyday I wouldn't want them to turn off automatically. But for occasional use, Automatic shutoff is probably the best option. One unknown thing to me this early in my testing of these calipers is the battery life. That is one thing the Mitutoyos often win hands down over cheaper options. For one thing, the Mitutoyos come with an SR44 battery which will last longer than the LR44 battery that comes with the Vofauiss. (these two batteries are interchangeable though if you want to put the better SR44 in this pair). Second, the Mitutoyos just seem to have more refined electronics than most others, which draws very little power and helps the battery last a long time. I have had my Mitutoyos for several years and have only replaced the battery in them once or twice in the time, even after leaving it on for several weeks at a time a few times. So don't get me wrong, I love my Mitutoyos and won't be getting rid of them anytime soon, but all this was just to say that for the price, these Vofauiss are very, very good calipers and worth every penny. They function well, are made of quality materials, the workmanship is good, and the value is outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone that needs an affordable set of calipers for casual use. I am glad to have these as a second set of calipers.

No longer working!!
Had this item for a 5 months. Worked fine then the display started blinking randomly with different numbers. If I can shut off the unit, it will turn itself back on and blink random numbers. Calipers are no longer able to be used. Changed the battery but that didn’t help.
