The media could not be loaded. This is a very handy tool, well worth the investment if you make a lot of precision measurements. Used for one intense week and it's great. Sharp edges and accurate measurements. The locking knob is very useful and the adjusting wheel works well. Sturdily made. The caliper has a pair of jaws attached to a long beam with a marked scale which is used to take inside, outside, and step measurements, also additional depth probe slides along the beam to take depth measurements. The standard max range is usually 6” but it depends on the length of the tool, this one is 12”. Also has a large, easy-to-read LCD screen Precise measurements. Automatic shut-off in five minutes. One button switch between inches and millimeters. Smooth, brushed all stainless steel, no plastic, glides easily without sticking. Position lock for duplicate measurements. Capable of measuring inside and outside dimensions, step and depth measurements. Can be set to Zero at any position, for differential. Measures internal and external dimensions, diameters, depth and steps in inch/millimeters. Great tool to have my husband really likes that is digital and so easy to use than his old plastic one, also comes in a nice case to keep it safe, highly recommended.

Very easy to use this product - well made and better put together than ones made for Harbor Freight where the battery door popped off on day 1. Very easy to use and love the choice of digital or fractions for imperial measurements. Very easy to read!

Everything about this digital metric ruler is excellent. Hight Quality. Easy to read display. Easy to switch between Inches, MM and fractions - though I really don't see the need for fractions. Personally, I would switch out fractions for CM measurements, or at least add that as an additional measurement. I mean if you're going to support Inches, MM, and fractions why eliminate CM? - That's why I gave it a 4-Star rather than 5.

The calipers large digital screen is nice. The tool itself bombed out the large screen tilts at the top causing incorrect measurements the action is smooth the thumb wheel is not fitted properly very loose

Listen, I don’t review things much but this is the most amazingly made thing I have bought on Amazon. It is accurate as heck, made sturdy and actual metal (not painted plastic), and comes with extra batteries and a sweet case. Buy this caliper. It’s no bull.
