    • One of the darkest Digimon seasons ever
I have been a fan of the franchise since the first Digimon season aired back when I was a teenager. Digimon Tamers or Digimon season 3, is one of if not the darkest season in the franchise. This season had many new different characters like Takoto, Henry, Rika and their Digimon partners; red dinosaur Guilmon which Takoto created, adorable Terriermon, and foxy Renamon. Our heroes will experience difficult obstacles to test their loyalty and friendship while they battle a corrupt Japanese government and an evil sovereign Digimon organization. Our heroes befriend a mischievous Digimon named Impmon, one of the most tragic characters in the franchise. This season had some dark moments like Beelzemon killing Leomon, Jeri’s Digimon partner and absorbing his data which breaks Jeri’s mind and heart, then a broken Jeri becoming the mind of the D-Reaper which is one of if not the most terrifying and darkest parts in the franchise when we experience Jeri’s broken mind and tragic childhood and the tragic death of her mother. The D-Reaper is one of the darkest and most terrifying villains in the franchise since Myotsimon. I will buy this blu ray and the Japanese one once they’re released in the future.     • Relive the glory days of Digimon, and overcome against my true fear.
I'm happy to see Digimon Tamers (season 3) getting remastered for the first time ever in high definition (HD) in both English dub and then later for the Japanese with English subtitles. But I have a major problem...I don't like horror stuff in Digimon. Too scary for me, and especially the D Reaper Jeri Katou...which happens to be my true fear/worst nightmare that I had since my late childhood and early teenage years in the 2000s decade. I got to be brave and overcome against my true fear if I am going to re-watch and relive watching Digimon Tamers again. Because if I don't...then my fears (and my true fear) will haunt me for the rest of my entire life. Anyway, I will get Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, and Digimon Tamers on Blu-Ray sets later on this year. ... show more

    • So Happy after 20 Years!
It's now been 20 years from 2006 to now 2026 that I've been waiting for a Blu-ray release of Digimon Tamers,and now I can't wait to see this show all over again on my 200 inch projection screen! Just the English Dub could be cheesy and cringe,but love the soundtrack! Let's see if the video upscaled to 1080p could tone down the grains that shows in the DVD version,and perhaps discotek might use AI to fix some of the imaging,until it releases we'll will see! ... show more

    • Worth it if you collect physical anime!
Discotek media are heroes for getting these licensed. While I am I big fan of the dub, I can’t wait for the original Japanese sub. I buy these physical copies to support the VO artists that made Digimon enjoyable.
