AMAZING MATTRESS!! Perfect balance of firmness and softness! Not hard at all, but keeps your body aligned. I can’t believe how comfortable it is for the price! I returned a $800 mattress and replaced it with this one and I’m so glad that I did. The only drawback is that it has not inflated to a full 16 inches only roughly past 14 inches. Not cool! But the comfort outweighs the lack of description height. Be careful when opening the package with the slide-cutter as you can still cut the mattress on accident. Go buy it don’t second-guess!!!

This mattress was a replacement for a foam core mattress in a twin size loft bed. When it arrived I was skeptical because I didn't believe it could be that compressed and still be a good firm mattress of the height it says it is. Well! I was amazed after opening it with the small tool (like the coupon cutter my mom used to use on the newspaper coupons) that it came with. It was wrapped and wrapped and wrapped and each layer I thought "see it's not expanding" UNTIL . . . I zipped through that final layer with the coupon cutter tool, and I'm telling you, you'll want to have it in its final location when you do this! It went from not a mattress to a mattress that looked like it came from the showroom floor quite rapidly! Then it continued to rise slowly for a while after that, but it was ready to sleep on that same night, even though the instructions said to give it 48 hours. It worked so well that we donated the old mattress after 2 nights, knowing that we wouldn't want to go back to it, even though it was a name brand that had been more expensive. It is quite high but the "large pocket" fitted sheets still work, and it is not so tall that a tween or teen would roll out of the top of the bed. A younger kiddo or restless sleeper might be able to roll out of a bunk bed with this tall mattress, so if there is a chance of this, also consider one of the bed rails that slips underneath it. This has really worked well for us and it was impressively packaged and only had a slight smell to it, like industrial fabric. You couldn't smell it after putting the sheets on, and after a week or so you couldn't smell anything after it had some time to air out.

For starters, again, I'm 6ft 4, 330lbs, and it has a medium feel (as it should for anyone over 250lbs), and works great for me. Biggest point here is that you should unroll it once it's on the bed frame (that will save you some work) and that you NEED an underlayment if your frame has wide spacing. Seriously. If the base or platform you have has spacing more than 2 in apart, get some plywood to give it a base. A cheap 4 by 8 piece of plywood is like 10 or 15 bucks at the hardware store, where they'll cut it to size for you as well. If you put this on widely spaced slats, you'll feel the slats dig into (and damage) the mattress, and you won't have a good time. With all that out of the way, again, it feels great, and besides not *quite* being as long as a twinXL, you can just about put 2 of these together to get a king size equivalence. In fact, it looks about right on a king frame, as long as you don't use fitted sheets (since it'll be about 5 inches too short) I'm super happy with this!

I really love this mattress. So nice and comfortable to sleep on. Very cheap in price compared to the ones that are store-bought. Really good firmness as well. Makes me sleep better. Thickness is just right for my bed frame. Great quality
