We walk our terrier mix about five times a day up here in NW Washington. We first bought a cute jacket that velcroed on, thinking that would be easiest. But the Velcro wore out in a month. So we ordered this one, expecting to have problems getting it zipped on our squirmy little pup. We have had no problems getting it on. The zipper easily engages, and if she is a bit squirmy,there is a small clip to hold the jacket in place until we get it zipped. The built in harness is great, since we don’t need to use both a jacket and a harness. Edited to add that after just a couple weeks the zipper broke. It tends to get jammed up on the fabric, and the teeth finally quit engaging. So off to find a third jacket:(

Be gentle with the zipper, its not super high quality. And make sure you get a little bigger than you think you’ll need, this will help with the zipper issue too. Mine ran a bit small. Otherwise great coat.

This is a great fit based on measurements and well made! It will be perfect for cold and drizzly days in my climate which is Texas where we do have wintery temps but not usually below freezing. (Ahem, except for last week's single digit weather anomaly). One great feature of this coat is that it covers the chest and tummy area which many dog coats leave bare or barely protected. The zipper is easy to use and even has a fur guard so you don't accidentally get fur caught. The walking harness and reflective striping are also great features. The outer layer fabric feels like it will block the wind quite well (in addition to being waterproof per the description but I've not tested it in rain yet), and it does have what feels like a fiberfill layer. The innermost fabric layer has a medium-weight nylon windbreaker type of feel. If you live in a more northerly climate this may not have enough fiberfill for extreme cold unless you add another layer of some sort. If you need a heavier coat for very cold climates another option is the TRUE LOVE Mt. Tallac Winter Dog Coat which I also purchased from Amazon but I ordered the wrong size and the size I needed was not in stock. It was a heavier duty coat and was probably too warm for Texas but was also very good quality. Overall I am very pleased with this coat and would definitely recommend.

Really nice jackets! The only thing I would change would be for it to have a more heavy duty zipper. The zipper pull is small and kind of hard to grab onto. But, other than that I really like them! For my 43 pound German Wirehaired Pointer I bought the 30” chest size and for my 70 pound golden retriever mix I bought the 33” chest size. They both fit great and had a little extra room in the jackets. I also like that it has the removable clips that go across the back to attach a leash.

We purchased this coat in January 2022 for our 22 lb. dog. The coat is very nice and fit our dog quite well and we were pleased with the quality, with one very big exception. The zipper (made from nylon) no longer zips closed which renders the jacket absolutely unusable. We used this jacket about 10 times last winter and it looks very new. It has not been abused. So we spent about $26 for a good jacket with a very poor quality zipper. I've found no way to contact the seller, Didog and I don't see that they have responded to any of the customer posted complaints. My recommendation is to pass on the purchase of this Didog dog jacket and look for one with a metal zipper. I now have to do just that.

My Sammie loves his new dog vest. Lightweight but warm. He's a silver lab and I've tried different vests. It zips from head to tail. Then dog just steps out of front paw holes. No more trying to squeeze my dog into a vest. Also has harness lock for leash which is a plus. Highly recommend. I bought the XL I believe. It tells you by weight and length of dog. Excellent product and fast shipping

The coat is will made, warm and water proof. However, I have a large dog and it is very difficult to get on. The zipper is difficult to close when trying to get in on a dog that is not very cooperative. Otherwise it is a good coat for cold wet weather. The difficulty is getting it on my dog is why I gave it 3 stars.
