There are likely two types of people looking at these bottoms: #1: someone who is cute in everything and is looking for something fun or #2: someone who is self conscious in a swim suit. - This review is for my #2 peeps! I am on my 60s and no matter my size, my hips and legs are “less than attractive”. As a result, I dread going to the beach or pool, and try to discreetly take my coverup off and jump in the water or plop on a chair. Well no more! These bottoms are adorable and give me the confidence I lack! I feel covered up in all the right ways without feeling like an old granny! The fabric is thick, like really good quality leggings. The skirt is full without being overwhelming. I love the two pockets as well! I carry my weight in my hips and thighs, wear a size 14/16, and I purchased a large, which fits well. I paired it with a top I already have and feel confident to head to the beach! I’m sure some people will look at me oddly because it’s so different from your average swimsuit, but I am happy and feel much more comfortable now…and isn’t that what’s it’s really about? ... show more

I’d recommend sizing down one size. I could have used a Medium, but since there’s a drawstring I can make the waist smaller. It is extremely comfortable and has also kept me warm when the sun goes down. This is my first purchase of a skirted leggin and I am sold! They are so very cute and definitely are dressier than just wearing leggings. I purchased the gray full length and the black capri length. They both are great. Super comfy and great quality leggings! I actually bought for sun protection at outdoor waterparks and they worked very well with my swimsuit. The fabric withstood pool chlorine without fading, and the skirt has sting ties on the inside so they don’t slide down while swimming, exercising etc. Last but least, they are true to size if you compare them to most yoga pants/leggings and are designed to be form fitting. I wanted mine a bit looser so I sized up to a medium (for reference I’m 5’2 and 125lbs). ... show more

Loved the color. Ordered a large which is too big, but the bigger concern is that they want to sit very low on the waistline, like bikini style. I have returned them, but will give the Med a chance as they do look good

It seems that running skirts over leggings is kind of hard to find these days (the major sports brands used to make them). I am 5’8” and about 150 lbs. I bought a large. I think it would have easily fit a woman who weighs 250 lbs which is fine but obviously it was not going to work for me. A TON of fabric. I cannot imagine these being flattering on anyone. Amazon suggested large for me but I'm glad I got M. It fits great and I love it as modest swimwear with sun protection. It dries quickly so you can easily walk around town after the beach without looking like you're still in a swimsuit
