These are great shorts! They're long enough to be considered conservative, but still look really nice and modern. They're incredible for travel and hiking, as they are so lightweight and pack down so small in your luggage. The fabric is so lightweight that it's hard to believe how sturdy they are. The surface of the fabric is really easy to dust off if you wear them for yard work and need to run to the store. They can be worn for day or night, work or play. These have become my new go-to shorts. I have them in three colors!

I'm almost always a size 8, but because of reviews, I ordered a 6. They were definitely a size too small, so I had to return and order an 8. I really love these shorts. The material is sleek and lightweight, doesn't wrinkle much, and lint and dog hair do not stick to it. They have nice little features like velco pocket closings. I'll be wearing these on the trails I frequent, and it's nice to have secure pockets to put my keys, phone, and drivers license in. They stretch a little, which makes them more comfortable, but so far the stretch bounces back so they don't end up baggy.

I like the material and length but too big. I got size 4 but need a belt. I would have returned them if there was a smaller size (but there wasn't) so I thought maybe if I washed and dried them they would shrink up but they didn't.

I normally wear a size 10 and the 10 is a bit big, but I'm ok with that because I like my clothes somewhat loose. If you like a tighter fit you might want to order a size down, especially since the fabric is stretchy. The thin, stretchy fabric is quite comfortable but it seems thick enough to be durable. The finish quality is good. I'm 5'5" and the bottoms hit a lot closer to my knees than they do in the picture, but the model is probably 5'10", so that's more about my being short than about the design. Overall I am very pleased with them. I am devoted to pockets, so if they are important to you, hopefully my descriptions will help. The bottom line is that these shorts have decent pockets, much better than in many women's shorts. The front pockets are nice-size mesh bags and are deep enough to hold an iPhone 6S without it sticking out over the top. I'd rate them a B+ --- they could be a bit better but they could be a lot worse, too. The side cargo pocket is stitched (not a bag) and closes at the top with a small velcro rectangle (no flap). An iPhone 6S fits in it and doesn't disturb the line of the pants much so it looks okay in there, but it sticks out slightly over the top and blocks the velcro from securing it closed, so it could slide out when you sit down. When walking with the iPhone in the cargo pocket, it's weight along with the stretchiness of the fabric means it flops around and back and forth, which would be slightly annoying if you were walking with it in there for any length of time. There are two stitched rear pockets which also close with velcro using a narrow fold-over flap. The iPhone 6S will fit and the velcro flap will close over it, but since the rear pockets are stitched instead of bags, it looks chunky and funky. I'd put flat cards or paper in the rear ones but not anything else.
