My socks are always too big because most women's socks are 9 to 11...I wear a 6.5 US shoe. I hate baggy socks and these do not bag at all. I dont get any compression on my feet and the legs don't squeeze either. I love the size options on these. Considered the smallest but went with 6 to 9 as I wear a 7 in boots often. Socks too small would be uncomfortable just as too big. These fit well, don't stretch, bag or pinch or shrink. I havent had any problem with sweating in lined slippers. The corners of the toe area have seams and they tend to stick out a bit. Haven't been a problem as I'm wearing them in slippers but I will try the 5 - 7 to see of the seams don't stick out. I think they could be a bit loose there and may be an issue on long walks. Overall these are comfy good quality affordable socks speaking as someone who has tried many brands and most don't fit or hold up. I dont consider them a warm sock but they are warm enough for fall or summer. That depends on your weather where you live. Our winters are too cold for these. I will use them for walks with sneakers or light hiking shoes but not as winter socks. ... show more

I was surprised at how tight these fit around my calves and ankles. Very snug fit. Overall perfect for the cold winter months eve experienced so far this winter. Love the selection of colors offered and the good stitching around the toes is not to thickck to wear sneakers to the gym.

I bought these for something a little thicker for winter. They are great...warm and thick, but not too much to fit in my shoes. They have a little cushion, but it's not overwhelming. I recommend. Great for the price.

These are nice. Almost feel like a compression sock, but they are not. They have good arch support, and they DO NOT bunch up or move, while wearing, unlike other socks. They are almost knee high for me. Good coverage, and make my feet feel good. Will reorder more later. Do recommend!!

These socks are thick but not too thick. They are soft and comfortable and hug my foot with just a small amount of compression. I bought them for every day use and will definitely purchase them again!

The product is soft and thick exactly what i wanted/expected. On a scale from pantyhose socks to skiing socks, they're closer to skiing socks but just under, falling into the hiking socks area. I would wear them in 36-70 degree weather.
