Great product. Works well holding up pants with weight in pockets and belt. Clips hold really tight. My only complaint is the leather patch on the back. It is light tan. On dark colored suspenders it stands out like a sore thumb or bullseye. I took a black marker to it, but it needs to be done every few days. How hard is it to put on a dark brown leather patch? These went out of style when I was a boy, so it seems crazy to start buying them. But it works! Very comfortable. I'm a heavy guy, and belts are painful for us. But I'm going to use these now, at least at home. I'm 6' 2" and 300 lbs, and I bought the extended size. I have about 4" more of adjustment room after fitting them. These ones are not heavy duty, but the clasps are firm. The clamp and adjustment clasps are easy to use. At first, it felt like my jeans were always about to fall down, but they never do! Sitting doesn't seem to stress them. Oh, and using the john is slightly easier, since you don't have to hunt down your zipper under your belt. And if you're one who prefers to unfasten the belt in the john, the pants still will not fall down. Everyone wants to know that, right? Oh, some of my t-shirts are really long. Those now get bunched up around my waist, because the suspenders won't let them go down any further. So, I won't get over-long t-shirts anymore. Just fyi. Anyway, recommended! ... show more

Original review below. Started out great but after less than a month, and maybe wearing them 10 times, the buckle/clasp that secures them to your pants are failing. The part that compresses against the jaws has bent and they no longer lock in place. It is just one buckle but you kind of need them all to work. I was actually able to bend the piece back into shape easily with my fingers which tells you how weak the material is. But after straightening it was right back to not working after I took them off that day and put them on another pair of pants a couple of days later. Maybe it is a fluke and I just happened to get the only one with issues. I really want to like these, and do like them.... when they work. I did lower from 5 strs to 3 stars. They should not fail in less than a month of moderate use. Going to try and return them and give them another chance. Original review These are the first suspenders I have ever had on. Wasn't sure if I would like them but I have no regrets for purchasing. They were super easy to adjust, are easy to slide off shoulders to go to restroom and slide back on when done. It does take about a minute to put them on the pants you will wear for the day but that is a very small time commitment for having peace of mind that you will not be mooning folks throughout the day. I can sit in a chair now without worrying about my crack showing. If you are like me with a big gut and no butt jut go ahead and hit the "buy now" button. Thank me later. As far as durability, I have only had them for three weeks now so too soon to say, but so far so good. ... show more
