The shorts were quite lengthy. Me being a taller man, these shorts actually look like normal length on me so the length is actually a huge plus. The quality of the shorts are quite amazing. The fabric used is very durable, easy to wash, and put together very well. The pockets are quite large. I have always boasted about being able to fit tablets in my pocket and this was no exception. I could even put the tablet in the cargo pocket. The only downside for me is the belt loops and honestly its a personal preference. I enjoy wearing wider belts and a few of my belts were a bit of a struggle to fit into the belt loops. In the end though, these shorts are way above what I expected. ... show more

Needed some heavier duty shorts to wear to work (mechanic) during summer. These have lasted the entire summer and still look good. No pilling, no falling apart. Would purchase again.

This is the fourth pair of these shorts that I have purchased and I like them very very much. They are a heavy fabric and can be warm or hot. The first pair I purchased I returned because the advertised size as "loose fit" were not loose fit, they were very tight so I returned them and purchased larger sizes, those fit well. Just be aware that the advertised size is not loose fit and can be very tight other than that they are of excellent quality and a real value. ... show more

Fantastic cargo work shorts and big/tall guy approved. My work gave me shorts that way too far above the knee and I've been dealing with them for way too long. Finally did proper research and found big/tall shorts for warm weather working. I will say that I did order 1 size bigger based on reviews that said these run small and that advice is spot on. I wear a 38, but ordered a 40 (that took some self convincing, im not that big am I?) But out of the package tried them on and they are perfect. I'd recommend ordering a size up waiste and you'll bo solid. Already ordered a 2nd pair after just trying these on. I no longer have to feel like I'm auditioning for a Magnum P.I. role. ... show more
