Was excited to order one of these bath mats as they appear to work really work to absorb water and are fairly inexpensive. On the fence as to whether I like it or not though. PROS: Love the pretty green color of this bath mat which matches my newly redecorated bathroom, which also features a sort of "odd" shade of green in the wallpaper. I like the size although I do wish it was bigger. I like that it quickly sucks up any water that gets on the bathroom floor after showering or bathing. I also like that it's something different that the usual cotton bathmat that has to be washed and changed every single day (6 people in my house including 3 teenage boys plus dogs including a puppy). So aesthetically, although extremely plain, I thought it did the job for an item at it's price point. CONS: Although it sucks up an impressive amount of water quickly, the bath math takes forever to dry. So it essentially lays on the bathroom floor, soaking wet but not dripping water. Then it gets freezing cold! My regular bathmat at least kept the bathroom floor sorta warm. I also don't understand where the diatomaceous earth is located within the structure of the mat. It's extremely thin and would be much better, and this much more effective, if it were much thicker. Going to give it a few more days to see if we like it or not.

This does soak up splashes quickly, but is not as impressive as the listing makes it out to be. Our kids will open the shower door and drip all over, so we wanted mats to absorb water that isn’t right at the shower stall. This does an adequate job with these minimal splashes. With any more substantial amount of water, and it’s like a wet fabric on top of foam, and will splursh water when it’s stepped on, until it eventually dries. I measured the mat for the space next to our shower, and despite the measurements, it was smaller than expected. Like a squat little “not quite a square or rectangle” shape. The beige color showed dirt with almost any footprint. (My husband will walk barefoot in the yard, then go in the bathroom where someone else has left water on the floor and make footprints all over everything.) I have to wash my mats frequently, but neither hand scrubbing or washing it in the machine will get his grubby footprints off. It was cheap enough that it’s fine for now, but when I’m ready to replace it, I will look for alternatives.

Have nice absorbance. Never had a wet carpet overnight. Easy to wash, didn't try machine wash though. Brushed it with washing liquid. Cleans it well and dries quickly as well. A good purchase.
