I bought this jacket to take on a recent tour of Norway. I had read that in Bergen, Norway it rains over 260 days out of the year and sure enough we were there on a very rainy day. This jacket was perfect. It kept me dry and does a terrific job as a windbreaker. I especially liked the ability to zip the hood off, if all I needed was a windbreaker (perfect walking on deck of a ship). Also, the hood had side adjustment straps that you can pull to tighten the hood on your head to prevent it from blowing off in a high wind. Great design! The Small jacket was roomy enough for me at 125 lbs and 5'4" to wear some layers underneath including a packable down jacket. I loved the color and the cut of the jacket is flattering. The jacket was thin enough for me to roll it up and store it when it wasn't needed in my day pack (see review of Owala sling bag). The only reason I can't give this a 5 star is that I'm uncertain it would hold up alone in a downpour since we used an umbrella when the rain got very heavy. I love this coat. I bought it for a trip and wore it almost everyday day. The pockets are the right size and location. It is lightweight but still provides some warmth. It is now my go-to fall coat when I am home.

Nice lightweight, lined coat. Fits true to size unless you are wearing a sweat shirt or sweater under the jacket, then the sleeves are a little tight. Definitely waterproof. Would buy again but consider sizing up.
