Great bed and a value for the money. I put it together by myself so just a few suggestions. If your working by yourself Forget the instructions. I understand why they want you to put it together that way but there's an easier way. Assemble the posts and the top rails FIRST but leaving the bolts loose. Then install the headboard and footboard and tighten those down. Side rails and slats and tighten those down. The bed should be square and true at this point so go back and tighten the top rail bolts. Forget the allen wrench use a cordless drill will an allen bit and set the clutch low enough it doesn't strip the bolts. You can double check for tightness with the allen wrench. Mine was undamaged and had all the hardware but I have a MAJOR suggestion for the manufacturer. Put a few EXTRA pieces of each bolt and washer. These are very very low grade bolts (soft metal) and it would be very very easy to miss thread or strip one. Luckily I had no issues. All in all a great deal. ... show more

I am in love with this canopy bed frame, it’s super cute! I purchased the gold frame and it’s really nice, I received a lot of compliments. Now it took me a little over two hours to put it up because it was just me. So I highly suggest having a second person help put it up, especially carrying the box inside the house cause it’s HEAVY! Other than that the bed is sturdy (I made sure of that when screwing the screws) and it’s super cute. 10/10 ... show more

This frame is great. Beautiful sturdy and easy to assemble. I would like to say I own a queen mattress and purchased the full frame bc another customer said she owned a queen sized mattress and the frame fit. It doesn’t fit a queen. I made it fit however it’s not a proper fit. My queen mattress is in the frame however it’s very snug and difficult to change sheets. It does work however I do not want people to be misled. Also my mattress safe so I need to purchase a box spring or piece of plywood to fix this issue. Whatever size I buy will need to be a full so the mattress will hang over the bottom piece. To some this may not matter but want to be honest. This isn’t a company defect I chose to try it out based on another review that wasn’t completely accurate. The bed sag thing is kind of annoying. My last bedframe did not require a boxspring which is why I do not currently own one. And that is why I only gave four stars instead of five otherwise I’ve received a lot of compliments and it looks fabulous ... show more

I waited for months for this bed to come back in stock. I got it in the gold color. Many reviewers complained it was mustard and I was worried, but it is the exact same shade as other gold furniture from other manufacturers. Do not stress! Its not the shade of jewelry gold, but it is a deeper gold and matte. Exact same as picture. It does creak a LITTLE but only when I'm getting in and can probably be easily fixed I just haven't bothered yet. For those asking if you can hang from the top: NO, I can assure you not a good idea. I thought it would be way sturdier. Don't get me wrong this is a SOLID bed but the bars are hollow and the top bars are just for decoration really. Great bargain for the look achieved. You absolutely need a box spring. Also, storage containers that fit under the bed and in-between the bars can be easily found, which was another concern for me. Between the bars under the bed you have about 19'' width and then a 6'' clearance for height (Full size bed), so many under bed storage products will fit. Or shorter amazon boxes. ... show more

    • Buy New Hardware before Assembly!!!
This bed is absolutely beautiful. All the other positive reviews are accurate about the way the bed looks, how sturdy it is, and how easy it is to put together, but I say only AFTER you have proper hardware. My experience was the hardware that comes with the bed is that it is absolute trash! In minutes of trying to assemble the first pieces, the bolts it came with stripped immediately. What I ended up doing is taking the directions to Home Depot and buying the exact same size bolts in the needed quantity described in the first pages but HEXAGON bolts. That way I could use my hexi drillbit making the process move 10x faster. The only bolts I was able to use are the longest ones in the hardware package that are used for the supports towards the end. It’s a $5 investment that will save you 5 hours of frustration. I believe assembly should take about 2 hrs. It’s absolutely beautiful and worth the extra steps! ... show more
