We bought this for our child’s room. It took a long time to assemble, not difficult, just lots of parts to put together and I did it solo. Instructions were fairly easy to follow, the only “issue” I ran into is I let my kids “help” and they kept moving the bolts package and it allowed them to slip into another section so I accidentally used bolts too long on one section because they were in the wrong spot, but it was easy to correct and definite user error, just be aware they won’t stay in their spot if you bend and move the bolts package a lot.     • Good bed bit be patient with assembly.
This bed it great for a smaller room. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and her small room. It is shoter than most loft beds but still allows room for a reading nook and stuffed animal area underneath. Once assembled it is very sturdy and does not squeak when she is on it. The only con is assembly. It takes a couple of hours to get together and I highly advise to not tighten ANY of the bolts until the end. They specify not to tighten certain steps but I wouldn't tighten any until the bitter end. We ran into a huge issue with the steps and none of the bolts lining up at all. We just had to loosen nearly all the bolts on the step side and then things lined up. All in all I am happy with it and would purchase again. ... show more

We were in the market for a new bed for our 3 year old. He has a smaller room so we wanted a low loft bed. I finally decided on this one after looking for a few days as it had the best price and functionality. We just got it set up today and so far it is great! My husband put it together basically by himself in just a few hours and said it was relatively easy. The steps are nice and sturdy with large storage spaces.     • Doesn't Put Together Well At All
This thing was a massive pain in the neck to put together! My boyfriend finally got it done literally 7 hours later and it's still messed up. None of the holes lined up, at all. And if he were to leave the screws loose to line everything up, he would tighten them later and it would start going all wonky and he'd have to unscrew and fix everything again. Because of all that, the stairs didn't go together correctly at all so when my daughter tries to use the drawer, it sticks. Other than all that though, the height is great. Perfect for my 5 almost 6 year old. Plenty of under bed space for her to play. If I were to actually know that this was going to be a problem, I would have kept shopping for something else.
