Super satisfied! This is for my daughter and she loves it. It’s sturdy as well! It was not that hard to build. I needed help maybe 3 times just to hold the bars in place as I screwed but other than that I did it by myself! Definitely recommend.

I purchased two of these items (one for a lower price on a different website months before, but they ran out of stock). The height is perfect, as we have a very small space but also very low ceilings (88 inches). I knew that I would have enough space to sit underneath (with my bum on the floor or a low pad/pillow), but I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that I can also sit up on top of the bed and not hit my head. I am 5ft1in. My teenage son is also able to sit; I think both above and below the bed. His bed doesn’t really squeak at all, but it is a bit wobbly if he repositions. Mine was also wobbly, but I never felt like it would collapse. My bed had also been up for a few months, so I went back and tightened everything and it doesn’t squeak anymore and barely wobbles. I weigh around 165 lbs. It did take my son and I hours to assemble each one- probably around 3ish hours (probably an hour or so longer for the first bed)? It’s not particularly difficult, just time consuming. I was hoping that we would put together the front and back, or both sides outside and then bring them inside, but that is not an option. You attach the bars that run the length of the bed very early on. The end, where you put the last two kinds of pieces on, can be difficult. It requires you to press *very* hard (both my son and I struggled with this on both beds, and we’re both pretty strong). I’m not sure why the bed is labeled as “silver”, as it definitely seems more like a matte grey to me (which I think looks much better in our home anyway). It’s definitely a pretty decent bed for the price! I spent HOURS over multiple months looking at the pros and cons of many different beds, and settled on this one based on our needs (needs to fit with our ceilings, I wanted to be able to sit up underneath/have ample storage space, I wanted to be able to sit up on top (or at least have enough space to make the bed), I didn’t want it to be wobbly and squeaky, I needed it to be pretty affordable, and I wanted the color to not be ostentatious). I wanted a bed for my son that could help me utilize the space in our room better, since right now his room is under construction. I went with this particular bed, because it was the most affordable loft bed with good reviews. What I like: - Affordable - Height is perfect for his 5’2” momma to kiss him goodnight without having to climb up there. - There’s enough space underneath for a desk, in the future when he gets his own room set up. - I’ve slept on it with my son, and it’s very comfortable and supportive. I had no issues knocking out for some rest. (We have a memory foam mattress paired with it Incase you are wondering.) -it’s quiet. A lot of beds like this have reviews that they can be very squeaky or shakey. We are on carpet and it seems to be fine. Things I’m Neutral About: -Set up took a while, but as is expected with many mailed beds of this nature. What I didn’t like: - The only reason I wouldn’t give this the full five stars is, is because within moments of using it my son hit his head on the head of the bed, from just laying down. Granted, he underestimated the amount of space he had to just lay back like that. But the metal to skull sound killed it for me >.< - The ladder is super painful for adults. My son does ask me to go up to read him a story once in a while and I’m a twenty something year old mom so no biggie, I’m still fairly flexible and able (right?). Lord have mercy, the ladder is KILLER on the soles of my feet. It’s SO painful. My son hasn’t complained about it, but he also weighs like 30 pounds. - If you put a bed underneath it, prepare to have some bumps and scratches. As I mentioned, we are sharing a room at the moment and short on space, so we moved my full underneath this twin. I sleep with my legs under the loft bed. I’ve banged my head, mostly upon waking up, hit my arm and scraped my knees with these little grey support pieces underneath the bed. They’re a tad too sharp for my taste. These issues can be resolved with some safety 101 with the kiddo, along with padding, zip ties, and some pool noodles (or at least that’s what I’ve read in the reviews of beds like this). But still, it would be nice if the comfort and safety was as thought out as the function and aesthetic. Perhaps flat ladder steps versus the rods? And some padding at the head of the bed? Some pieces that are a bit less sharp and more dull underneath the bed? As a whole, I’m satisfied. We have had it for a couple of months now. No creaking noises, it looks pretty awesome, my son loves it, and you can’t beat the price. I think I will like it a whole lot better when I’m not sleeping underneath it ☺️. Update *** it’s been one year and bed is holding up great. My son got his own room finally, we added some pool noodles for safety and battery operated string lights underneath and on the rail. Ok I put this together by myself and it took quite some time. The instructions were pretty simple until I got to putting the under bars on. The plastic piece to lock the bar into place was very difficult to navigate and snap into place. Once I finally figured that out it was fairly simple. Overall, I love the way it looks! No issues with assembly, the bed was put together fairly quick. It’s a great bed for a (5) almost (6) year old. It’s tall enough to fit toys underneath and we hung lights around the edges. Got a 10” mattress for the bed and the bars are still above it a little bit. It is kind of a struggle to make the bed but other than that we love it! ... show more
