I bought this bed for my daughter specifically for the drawers under the bed for storage. She has a bedroom set previously purchased in Babies R Us with a Crib that converts to a full size bed, but with a growing wardrobe I wanted something that has drawers under the bed and not rolling plastic bins. My husband assembled the bed under two hours but that's with 2 kids "helping", me distracting him a bit, and eating a little in between. No pieces broke while the bed was assembled. If you force things together as I see in the other reviews (the slats that support the mattress) they could snap I suppose. If a grown man over 200 lbs supports themselves on one of the slats while assembling the others of course they will snap. If that weight is distributed over the mattress, the slats should be fine. The headboard is semi-soft. It is very white in color. And it is not all that "shiny", but not completely matte either. My daughters furniture is actually sort of a pearl white/ off white but since the material is upholstered and not wood it doesn't look too bad. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bed that a 6 year old will beat up anyway and I did not want to purchase another bedroom set to have all the pieces match at this time. The storage drawers under the bed are on wheels and are plastic. They do roll out from under the bed, just like the photo with the two fluffy pillows attached. Be aware!! This bed contains a chemical called formaldehyde!! that cause cancer. I didn't found out about this until I was putting the pieces together because the label is located in one of the panels. They should include this information on the product details!! Very disappointed 😤 picture included

After reading reviews I was reluctant. I am laying on my bed of now 6 months with no problems whatsoever. I love my bed sooo much. I am 32 years old 172 lbs. My mother yes my mother lol helped me put this together. I will say that we used power tools...a drill electic to screw the screws. This bed is unbelievably sturdy IM IN LOVE GUYS THANKS SO MUCH FYI don't use the package tools i mean can't really screw the screws in tight in sturdy with that alone. ... show more

DO NOT BUY THIS BED FRAME! I know it's cute and cheap, but not worth it. We've had this frame for less than a few months and it's broken. The wood underneath can't hold any weight. My mattress is fairly light and I'm 5'5'' 135 Ib.... Went to sit on it one day and it just broke and my mattress dropped through. Save your money and find a different product. ... show more

I am thoroughly impressed how solid this product is. Was expecting a lighter, flimsier bed for the money. It not only looks expensive, it feels expensive. 1. Instructions are very clear and if followed to a t, there will be no problems. 2. All the hardware is packed and marked - not just a big bag of nuts and bolts. All you need to assemble is an allen wrench, which is included. However, an electric one would not hurt, as it will save you an hour or two. :) 3. All the holes are pre-drilled and prepared very accurately, so everything alligned well. Second pair of hands never hurts, but not mandatory in this case. 4. The drawers (internal walls and bottom) are not wood, made from light semi-transparent flexible plastic on a thin metal frame. It makes it actually easier to assemble, easy to open and close- glide right in and out, but I would not store there anything too heavy. The drawers have a tiny lock mechanism, so they stay in place. They are quite shallow, but there are no miracles Time will of course show how this bed serves and what abuse it can take from an active 10 year old, but so far - I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE it. Great valor! It’s VERY sturdy and elegant! I added rhinestone self adhesive bling to the buttons on headboard and it’s even nicer! Definitely happy with my purchase. It was easy to assemble and worth the price.

The instructions were by far the best I’ve come across. I assembled this bed myself in 3 hours. Girl Power! Which seems on track with the reviews I read where it took 2 people 1.5 hours. This would have taken a lot less time if I had an allen wrench drill bit (you better believe I do now!) there were so many screws that used an allen wrench and doing it by hand took at least an hour. The manual says not to use power tools but I think it’s fine if you are slow & gentle with the drill. When I connected the side rails to the headboard, I used a can of food to rest the headboard on so it was at the right height to slide the side rails into. You have to be resourceful when you’re building this solo. This bed is a great value and it’s so cute. ... show more
