  • Updated review after almost two years:
Style: Bed Size: Twin Color: White
I read many reviews before buying this bed. Some were glowing, gushing testaments to the magnificence of it, and others were reports of the horrors. I think the truth is somewhere in between. Here are some things I remember that I'd like to clarify, for anyone who, like me, may be confused by the mixed bag of opinions. The welding isn't expert/detracts from the quality: no, it's supposed to look that way. This is a classic look. The "imperfections" are true to the style. It looks like an antique bed I had when I was young, and the welding spots make it look old, instead of new and cheap. It squeaks/bends/isn't sturdy: it is very sturdy, and it doesn't squeak if you tighten the bolts completely. If you don't do that, this bed will fall apart, after driving you crazy listening to its noise. You can tell that by the way it's assembled. The silver bolts are hideous: yes, they are, but this can be cured quite easily with a $5 metal paint pen, and for the price of this bed, it's still a bargain. The holes don't line up perfectly/you have to force pieces together: that's true, to some extent; you do have you force some of the pieces together. Trust me, though, you don't want to sleep in a bed with extra large holes where everything fits together. It would squeak and lack stability. It's a good thing that it fits snugly. It does fit. There are missing pieces/boxes open/damaged pieces: I'm sure these were valid complaints when posted, but apparently this company got tired of complaints. When I got mine, every single piece was boxed separately and taped securely. I think they got paranoid about missing pieces, because it took me longer to get the tape off than it did to assemble the headboard and footboard. I have slept on it one night, so I can't speak to durability, but it seems solid and it is very comfortable with a good mattress. For $111, I'm happy right now. If that changes, I'll update the review. My only real problem with assembly it's that there are no text directions. The instructions are just pictures, and I find that difficult to decipher; however, that's a personal issue that probably won't affect anyone else. Update: This bed is rated for 160 pounds, so I'm not changing my rating, but keep in mind that kids grow and weights change. Once you break that 160 lb. weight limit, it's only a matter of time before the bed frame buckles and breaks apart. (Keep in mind 160 includes the mattress. I did not, so I was ANGRY, at first. A heavy mattress reduces the size of the person who can use the bed.) If you're shopping for a small child, it's a great value. If you're shopping for a teenager, don't buy this bed. It will not last. I bought it in September 2015, and I put it on the trash pile in January 2018. ... show more

  • Not Bad, Not great
Style: Bed Size: Full Color: White
The final product is nice, but it was a *%$### to put together. If any piece was not perfectly drilled and off center, it takes two people to put together. The headboard was slightly bent and it was like moving heaven and earth to get the screws in as the holes did not line up.

  • Princess Like
Style: Bed Size: Twin Color: White
Bought this for my 14-year old who is going through a major coquette phase. The bed arrived in a relatively small box. The bed is a white enamel metal frame, super easy to assemble. My daughter and I set it up in 30 minutes. She loves the aesthetic! We only use a mattress as a box spring is not needed. If your daughter is looking for something pretty and dreamy I would highly recommend this frame and seriously the price is right! ... show more

  • Cute
Style: Bed Size: Full Color: White
The screws and washers all fell out of the box, made it a pain to build but it wasn't too bad to build with 2 people. Only been sleeping on it for a few nights but i like how it looks, feels stable, not really squeaky. Good for the price

  • Amazing quality, annoying to build LOL
Style: Bed Size: Full Color: White
THE CONS: I would say the most difficult part about building this bed frame was attaching the main bottom frame to the head and footboard. It is completely my fault for doing it alone, I highly recommend two people to help, but it did take around 4 hours for me (a 23 y.o. 120lb. woman) to complete by myself. This is not necessarily a con, but it’s worth saying it wasn’t easy to build. Now… to the important part! THE PROS…the quality of the frame once everything is complete and the bed is in place is wonderful. - No squeaking when bouncing around. - Very gentle on hardwood floors. - No scratches or scuffs on any of the materials (all of the materials were sealed in plastic bags). IMPORTANT NOTE!! So it looks like (possibly based on previous reviews of the middle support leg buckling) the company added a new bracket as well as spring screws - whatever those are - and washers. There was a printed page included on top of the instruction manual packet, make sure to use this sheet for the specific step rather than what’s in the actual packet. Overall, highly recommend lmao Thanks for reading :) ... show more
