Found out it was plug and play. Forums and instructions state that you need to take your Indian to the dealership to have it flashed. I plug mine in and everything works. I went down to Indian and they told me if it's not broke don't fix it. Super bright!

Easy installation very bright compared to factory lighting, only problem is my bike (indian chieftain) needs a decoder harness that does not come with every purchase so I am waiting for the harness to finish my review 😀 got my decoder harness today so I am all set works wonderfully super happy that I didn't pay the $400 dollar indian headlight do to my buddy got the oem and mine is brighter 😀

The media could not be loaded. I love the way these lights look on my 2007 Harley Ultra Classic. But there is a significant flaw. The bolt to attach the lights was at least 1/2" too short. It is a much bigger deal than it sounds like it is. After setting aside some of the washers to help them fit, which are needed if you want to aim these lights. But even doing that, they just barely fit. Once I started tightening them down, so the lights wouldn't move, the bolt shaft snapped off in the nut. I wasn't applying too much pressure. The material the bolt is made of is some cheap Chinese pot metal. Let me tell you; I was super frustrated at that point. So how did I get them mounted? Luckily the lights were able to fit into my original HD Highway light housing. I had to drill a hole in each housing to pass the light controller wire through, but it worked. I was determined to make it work. One other word of warning, the instructions, and wiring diagram were useless. If you don't know what you are doing, take it to a pro for installation. I found one video made by a guy installing a similar light set, but it wasn't much help either. I spent the better part of two days doing this install. A pro might do it in 3-4 hours. The installation will cost more than the lights.
