I actually didnt use these for food at all. I used them for disk light insulation covers and they worked great for that; however, since most people will be using these containers for food I will review for food as well. For holding food such as meats, vegetables and salad or anything with a thick liquid I think these containers will work fine for that function. The containers lids are not perfect. They have a slight warp in the lid and as you can see from the pictures that warp was enough to cause this dish to not hold water. Warps like this often occur from making them too fast and from too high of heat. Unfortunately that same process also causes them to be brittle and I did break a couple of the dishes while testing them. ... show more
