Absolutely beautiful and It adds a, Ohhh WOW, affect when you walk into the room. There was a delay in shipping and it went from a one day delivery to not sure delivery. My wife was worried she was going to get it after Christmas and was delighted it was only a week late. It has two velcro straps that attach the tree topper to the tree, it will not just sit on top of the tree, and you will need a firm part of the tree to strap it to, and not just the top little tree branches. When I was attaching the strap, I struggled putting the velcro end through the plastic buckle and after I completed one strap, the wife suggested i just simply wrap the velcro around and not use the buckle, that was easy and worked just fine. The cord to plug in the topper is very long reaching the outlet without a problem. My ceiling is 17 feet high so the projection is wide and dramatic, im not sure the lower your ceiling and having a tall tree how that may change the projection and coverage on the ceiling. Seems to be nice quality and the price seemed reasonable.

Update * I’ve had this on my tree for almost a month and the base that holds onto the tree is splitting and almost completely broken. The top of my tree is normal and we didn’t force the star on the tree so not sure what’s that’s about. FYI It’s very cute and exactly like the photos. Glitter does come off when handling FYI. Only downfall I’ve noticed is it makes like a humming vibration noise which is annoying when it’s quiet. The cord length reaches all the way from the top of my tree 10 feet down to the outlet. Projection is as expected and it doesn’t feel cheaply made.

It’s a pretty topper and it has a very good fitting device for the top of the tree, but the top is illuminated and the bottom is not. It doesn’t look right. I don’t love the swirly action on the ceiling; it distracts from the tree. I am returning it.

We have really high ceilings and this looked gorgeous casting lights all over the house and ceiling. If you only have a little space in between your tree and the ceiling, I would probably not recommend, because it would appear very small, but if you have space for it to project, definetely get this!

I was so surprised when I opened this package! It was this really large, gold, solid glitter double sided tree topper. It was really heavy, and I thought, there is no way my tree will hold us up. But, I have a perfect straight half an inch Limb at the top of my tree. I had to cut it a little, but the star sits up there so solidly. Then I plugged it in and I got this wonderful glowing twinkling on the ceiling. Not overdone, just right. I really love this star. I had to replace one that I’ve used for a long time, but this one will last a very long time. Good job!
