The bed was fairly easy to put together, took one person about 2 hours. Arrived in 3 boxes and everything was packaged well and intact. I like that the frame is solid wood rather than mdf, feels very sturdy. The bed looks beautiful and doesn’t creak.

Firstly, the bed comes in 3 separate boxes with 3 separate tracking numbers, Amazon only gives you 1 tracking number and I had to ask the vendor to provided the other 2, assembly was easy enough, one of the side boards came damaged but by then the entire frame was already out of the boxes so I wasn’t
about to put them all back in to return so guess I’m stuck with that now, I was missing 2 bolts for the center board but the vendor sent the replacements very quickly when I asked them to send more bolts, the frame creaks whenever my dog jumps on, the headboard is a bit short, overall it’s OKAY, wouldn’t really buy this frame again if given the choice, it’s not horrible but definitely not sturdy enough to last a few years, 3 stars are mainly for the customer service, bed is probably 1-2 stars at best

mpressed with the communication from seller. They proactively send the tracking details for all the boxes (as there were multiple). I didn’t see this with other seller’s at Amazon. The one box was lost in the transit, so the seller sent the replacement. The quality of the bed is too good. I assembled it with my husband. If you just pay attention to the instructions, you can do it (have patience it takes time). The bed is quite heavy, just keep that in mind. Only one thing bothers me is that there is no space at the head and the foot after putting my mattress, which makes changing sheets very difficult ( I’m using Serta’s iseries mattress). Hence, 4 stars.

Frame could use a few extra inches..mattress is snug

High quality frame. Very sturdy. The headboard attaches to the side rails and does not extend to the ground, which aides its sturdiness and adds to the aesthetic. t was attaching legs. Had to rest the frame on two chairs to get that done. Would have been a breeze with an extra set of hands. Three complaints: The first is that the frame is a bit smaller than my old one and the mattress fit is snug, especially lengthwise, which other reviewers have pointed out. Adding an inch or two to all sides would help. Additionally, it is definitely geared towards lower profile mattresses, otherwise it will cover a bit too much of the beautiful headboard. The second is that the side rails were not pre-drilled and threaded like the rest of the frame. The slats were pre-drilled but not metal threaded. I may end up pre-drilling and threading those at some point but for now the slats are not screwed in because it felt subpar craftsmanship to do it without that. The third is that the slats feel cheap. My previous frame was subpar quality overall but somehow had very high quality slats and a metal support bar running down the middle. Even if that change upped the price by an extra $100 it would still be a worthwhile purchase for the quality in my opinion.

This is ALMOST a Queen size bed, it is NOT a true Queen !

I thought this bed looked good in the pics online, so I ordered one. I had a few issues with delivery (Amazon used UPS and UPS literally threw two of the packages in the brush near the gate of my apartment complex, and forgot the third box on the truck, so I guess once the driver figured out at the e
nd of the day that he forgot one, he marked it "Attempted Delivery." When I got home and realized only 2/3 boxes made it, I called and read them the riot act. I am sure it was the same driver who came back the next day because he threw the third package exactly where he threw the first two--not: let me be a professional and put the thing on a dolly and take it to the customer's door and leave it on her front porch like I'm saying I'm doing in the system...he just threw it in the brush and pulled off. SO GHETTO! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! The boxes were SUPER heavy, so I had to get two guys to help me bring them up from the entrance of the complex because of ghetto a** UPS!! Amazon: Stop using third party carriers. They suck! Most Prime drivers are professional, courteous, and respectful of your stuff you spend so much money buying. UPS clearly didn't give a damn! Anyway, about the the bed. I took all the pieces out the box and the pieces themselves are SUPER sturdy. Like: this is real-deal wood - not that particle board or other faux wood. It's heavy, as a result. I (a woman) put the bed together by myself in about 30-45 minutes. It was pretty simple. The 1 pager instructions were clear, so I'm not sure what others are talking about when they say it's a pain to put together. It was probably the easiest bed I've ever put together. A couple qualms: the tool bag was missing about 6 of the washers, so I had to screw in some of the screws without washers. The BIGGEST qualm is that my queen memory foam mattress DOES NOT FIT on this allegedly queen size bed! A shame!! I have tried forcing the underside of the foam into the back, but it keeps popping back out. I guess I'll have to live with this "almost" queen.

A struggle to assemble but final product is worth it

This bed looks great assembled. It's made of quality wood (expect for a small portion of MDF below the headboard) and it fits my queen mattress perfectly. I am knocking off 1 star for 2 reasons. The assembly of this bed was awful. You get 2 small alan wrenches in which to screw in the bolts, and with
the location of the bolts, sometimes you were only able to make very small quarter turns making the screw-in process painful. Also the headboard on my bed had a patch that looked stained, however I was able to take a wet microfiber cloth and remove the patch that was dirty. The instruction was a sheet of paper with no verbal instructions, just pictures. For most people this will be fine. I was able to assemble the bed myself in about 2 hours, however there was a part where 2 people could have been very helpful as you have to lift the already assembled frame up in order to attach the 4 legs on each corner. I would highly recommend a power drill (each slat gets screwed into the frame) and a alan wrench kit to avoid using the crappy L shape ones provided. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of this bed and love the look and solid feel. The fabric on the headboard is a nice thick textured cloth and looks good with the gray color I got. I would recommend this bed.

This is amazing.... took 45 minutes to put together.... it is gorgeous and good quality for the money. Ships in 3 boxes - so you have been warned.... 2 came early and 1 took 2 more days and the final box has the instructions and hardware. No regrets here!

I unpacked and assembled the king in 'beige.' All 3 boxes say 'king size' from Malaysia. The design and sturdiness is impressive. Parts and process is straightforward and comes with good directions. The beige is a very light linen or cream color. The bed framing is MDF veneered with rubber wood and i
s very structurally sound. The corner legs are solid rubberwood. Other reviews citing finish smells are true not consequential since this is gone within a day or two of air exposure. The rubberwood finish is a matt walnut color. Our existing 13" mattress fits well in the frame. The photo shows how a 13" mattress fits RE headboard. There is virtually no movement; very stable. The slats are about 12" off the floor so the total bed height is higher than many modern platform beds. There were I think 8 centrally located vertical legs arranged in two columns in addition to the 4 visible corner legs. After the first few nights we are quite pleased. If ordering a new mattress, I would keep it at 10-11" max for the best appearance and height.

Good enough bed for the price

job, but I don't know if they would be adequate for heavy people. The wood bends easily. I wanted to replace them all, but "others" disagreed and we used them anyway. I don't like that I can see the middle support under the bed. It really bugs me to look at it, but it is common for king beds. I put a bench at the end of the bed so I don't see it as much, but it also means I can't see the nice wood end of the bed frame. I would have gladly paid extra for steel supports that would eliminate the need for the middle leg at the end of the bed . Bottom line: For the price, a pretty good bed for average sized people. I won't let the kids jump on it.
