This was my wife and my first big furniture purchase online. We purchased this and have been loving it! The first time it shipped, there was a crack in the headboard. We reached out to the company and they sent us a new headboard for free without any issue in just a few days. Their customer service was great. As for the bed, it's easy enough to set up. It took no more than three hours from start to finish. I would recommend you have a cordless drill and two people to put it together, though. We've been sleeping on the bed for about a week with our new Tuft & Needle Mint mattress and have been totally pleased with our purchase! No squeaks or anything like that - feels really solid. Side note: We originally found this on Overstock.com for ~$800, so we were thrilled when we found it on Amazon for $200 less! We took the product photo and did a reverse image search on Google to find other places where it was sold. We're going to do this all the time from now on! ... show more

I unpacked and assembled the king in 'beige.' All 3 boxes say 'king size' from Malaysia. The design and sturdiness is impressive. Parts and process is straightforward and comes with good directions. The beige is a very light linen or cream color. The bed framing is MDF veneered with rubber wood and is very structurally sound. The corner legs are solid rubberwood. Other reviews citing finish smells are true not consequential since this is gone within a day or two of air exposure. The rubberwood finish is a matt walnut color. Our existing 13" mattress fits well in the frame. The photo shows how a 13" mattress fits RE headboard. There is virtually no movement; very stable. The slats are about 12" off the floor so the total bed height is higher than many modern platform beds. There were I think 8 centrally located vertical legs arranged in two columns in addition to the 4 visible corner legs. After the first few nights we are quite pleased. If ordering a new mattress, I would keep it at 10-11" max for the best appearance and height. ... show more

Likes: all parts were included in packaging and the frame was packaged very well; frame appears to be very sturdy. We used two Twin XL mattresses and they fit perfectly. Like amount of storage room under the bed. Frame looks sleek with combination of fabrics with wood surround. Dislikes: Frame has unusual smell but after one week seems to be fading; husband handy at putting together otherwise you may need some help with the assembly. ... show more

Pros: Delivered in perfect condition, and quickly. Wood and fabric on headboard look good. All the hardware was there. King mattress fit perfectly. Good height. Attractive bed that didn't take long to assemble. Instructions provided were good. Cons: The wood in the slats could be better. They do the job, but I don't know if they would be adequate for heavy people. The wood bends easily. I wanted to replace them all, but "others" disagreed and we used them anyway. I don't like that I can see the middle support under the bed. It really bugs me to look at it, but it is common for king beds. I put a bench at the end of the bed so I don't see it as much, but it also means I can't see the nice wood end of the bed frame. I would have gladly paid extra for steel supports that would eliminate the need for the middle leg at the end of the bed . Bottom line: For the price, a pretty good bed for average sized people. I won't let the kids jump on it. ... show more

The wood is solid, easy to assemble ( 2 people ) and looks amazing! The bed comes in three boxes and not on the same day but the bed was packed well and no damages. Love my new bed and I strongly recommend it.

This bed frame was delivered ahead of schedule in two separate boxes. The. Instructions are easy to follow, and although you can accomplish this alone, I would recommend sharing the fun with an extra set of hands. Assembly is possible with just a screwdriver; however, with the time and effort spent, I would try to use an impact driver to get all of the many, many, many screws into the wood.
