Was looking for pillow covers to re-cover the 2 large throw pillows that came with my sofa. Trying to bring out colors in a new rug and chose these bright green ones. I'm planning to purchase in other colors as they look great. (Will take/post pics soon) They went on my pillow forms easily, and filled out the covers nicely using the same size as the pillow form (often it's suggested to downsize the cover so the pillow appears overstuffed). The zipper is hidden, and the ball fringe is cute (and so far my cats aren't using it as a toy). Love them and definitely plan to buy other colors to change out occasionally. Very soft!! I used a 20" pillow in it for a thicker pillow, but you could easily get away with an 18" one if you wanted it a little flatter.

Okay first of all, these came so quick and perfectly packaged! They are absolute excellent quality and they look and feel way more expensive than what they are! These are very well made, they are so nice and soft! And the zipper is almost invisible. I completely transformed my old outdated throw pillows on my couch with these and it looks SO good! This set of pillow covers came quickly & nicely packaged. The color is a neutral cream. The zipper is hidden, seams are neat & the general construction of the pillow covers is well done. An 18” insert fits perfectly - no need to go up an insert size for fullness. They are soft & look incredible. I have ordered two sets of these in pom-pom pillows in teal and absolutely love them. I purchased two gold couches which needed a substantial amount of throw pillows to add bulk to the sofa itself as well as to tone the yellow down to coordinate with the artwork and navy walls of the room. These are not only beautiful but they are also high quality. I love the detailing of the pom-poms which take a nice, but simple velvet pillow and add some nice visual and physical texture. I haven't washed these yet but suspect when I do it will be on the "gentle" or "hand-wash" cycle and only in cold to preserve the integrity of the fabrics. I know many people mentioned that their pillows came apart at the seams I have not experienced that. I had meant to shore up the seams with my sewing machine but forgot in my excitement to get them onto the couch.     • A note on the zipper...

I am reviewing mostly to address other reviews that complain about the zipper. The zipper is just as it should be, same as you would find, and as I have found, on any other cover. Yes, it is small and thin- you would not want a bulky zipper like you have on your jeans on a pillow. Yes, it does not go all the way to the corners- if it did, your pillow would shape funny at those corners because the zipper is stiffer than the fabric. Yes, you have to squeeze the pillow a bit to get it in there- they are pillows; they are squishy by nature. The pompoms are better than others I have seen, though, you still need to handle them with care during washing. I put anything with pompoms into a mesh bag and wash on delicate, then hang to dry. (I also always close zippers when washing so they cannot warp or the teeth get pulled.) The velvet is soft and has a shorter nap. It will probably catch all my cats loose fur nicely but will also clean up easy with a lint roller. The color is a bright cherry red. It will work well with both my Christmas and Valentine's Day decor. I would recommend and consider purchasing again in other colors. ... show more

These are perfect for the couch pillows I made years ago and have been making my own covers for to change them up once in a while. They are a nice fuzzy/velvety material and the color for me was spot on from the picture (deep red/burgundy). The zipper is difficult to find but I consider that a plus! I don't really want a super obvious zipper sticking out and it is sewn very cleanly in-line with the pompom trim. The zipper does end a couple inches short which means if you didn't get an accurate size or size up for an overstuffed pillow, you're gonna have a bad time. I was able to kind of fold my pillow in half to get it in and then pull the cover to the corners. Cover seems durable as I wasn't particularly gentle getting it in there or the adjustment after and there was no tearing, seam popping, or zipper detachment. No strange smells and didn't bother to wash it before I threw it on, so I can't speak to its laundering durability. I will definitely order more of these. ... show more

    • If you order teal, check color right away
These pillow covers look nice, however I ordered teal and received green. Unfortunately, I hadn't planned to use them right away and didn't realize they were the wrong color until 2 days after the return date expired (in the semi-sheer bag they were packaged in, the color wasn't obvious). So I ordered a second set in teal and again received green. I compared them to the online photos and they are most definitely green and not teal. They look weird with my color scheme. 2nd set is being returned. ... show more
