We got things that go bump in the night around here. A LOT!!! These "things" walk an four legs and some walk on two. The four legged ones are very quiet. The others wake up the shotgun with a 10,000 lumen spot light on the barrel. I have a 4 foot fluorescent that hangs of the front of the home. When this device triggers, it stops mosquito's in their tracks. I have gone one step further... Put a battery backup in the mix and with the power out, I get to clean up soled underwear of those two legged idiots who dare to trespass while my power company gets a fix-it crew out of bed. So??? So far so good. Installed 1 week ago and everything is as advertised. Set range on high and get a 50-foot turn on radius with over 180-degree coverage. Easy installation and start up. Used to activate a night security light set up. Able to adjust stay on time is a plus.

Followed the instructions and it worked sporadically until it quit. The motion detector doesn’t work on animals just humans. Chinese garbage!

    • Wind in the trees sets off the motion
Very difficult to install in a good spot outdoors. I keep having the breeze in the trees set the motion off even though I have it set to the smallest range. Also frustrating that there's no choice between 10 seconds and 1 minute for light on. Would be nice to have a 30 second option.

I would have preferred that it use rechargeable batteries with a USB-C charging cord that could be permanently left charging. This way, it would be both a battery and a corded unit. This is not a difficult thing to do in this age of technology. Mounting the sensor where it will be most effective, without needing it to be wired, is nice. ... show more
