So as i sit here in 9 degrees weather, mind you 20 ft in a treestand with a mild wind, i figured this would be a great time for a review. I have owned this jacket with hoodie for 2 seasons. Other than the batteries being expensive,i haveto rate this jacket all of a 4.5 star. Early season when 38 to lets say 45 all i use is polypropylene expedition weight long sleeve,then a thin camo turtle neck over that. Then the heated jacket. I keep it on low and life is good. If it get a bit colder then I will include my thin wool sweater into the conversation. Now when its 9 out and eve zero f. I use the poly, the thin turtleneck then the jacket on low, but the kicker is then i put my insulated parka over the electric jacket. I leave it on low and i am aok. Along with my electric socks I am cozy for 3 to 4 hours. I keep 2.extra battery's in case. Quality seems very well made. Good zippers, and the hoodie i was thinking of not getting, but that would have been a mistake. I did take off a lot of the velcro stuff , flag . Some of it is very noisy and no need for a hunter. Anyways thats about it. So far so very good.

There are a few things to understand about these kinds of jackets. Their intent is not to bake you, the intent is to neutralize the freezing feeling of your core from the elements. The hottest temp is warm and cozy, but does get too warm when its not extremely cold outside. You will also lower it from Red to Blue or Green if you are walking as your body temp will go up. The button on your chest is a great idea. The battery charges easily and reasonably fast. Anyone who complains is a whiner. I bought this as a warmer for my motorcycle rides as the wind chill can get to you. So far on trail walks its proven its value and it warms the arms to boot! If you want one, this is the one to get. Sizing is normal though I sized up.

There are things I really like about this jacket but some that I don’t love, but others may not mind. Pros - Thick, stops the wind, very warm. Cons - Stiff, pocket placement to high, weighty I have only worn this a handful of times, to football games. I was really happy to have it and it did a great job in keeping me warm. But for me, it’s a bit heavy if I had to be up and moving around. I also feel a bit restricted in my arm movement. Not due to fit, I think it’s just the fleece is so thick and a little stiff. But like I said, other people may find that as a positive (good quality, thick fleece). I would love to have something like this in a lightweight, longer puffer jacket.

I bought this jacket a year ago so this is my second winter with it. I love the jacket, it keeps me warm. It washes really well I use a laundry bag and hand wash cycle then hang to dry. My battery that came with the jacket stopped working, it would charge but not run the jacket or anything for that matter. I wrote the company and they are sending me a new battery. Love that they stand behind their products!

It overall does what it says. Still think it could be a bit higher heat but you definitely feel it. Nice quality solid jacket and has a battery pack which is a bit heavy but last an awhile. Make sure you get fitted size as you want it to be fitted, so if your in between sizes get the smaller size so that the coils are close to your skin so you feel it.

I bought this jacket a year ago and it worked great. It has a lot of heating elements which really kept me warm. There are heating elements in the back, front, and arms. I am a teacher and have car duty in the cold mornings and also recess duty so I needed something to keep me warm. There were some days I only needed this fleece hoodie and some days I layered it with my jacket. It didn't take long to charge the battery and it lasted a long time as long as I used the lowest setting. If I used the highest setting (warmest) then it didn't last that long but I only needed it for a short period anyway so it was fine for me. The trouble started suddenly about a year later (now) when the heating element stopped working. Actually, I charged the batter to full and then went to turn on my jacket. The light came on and was heating up but then suddenly it turned off. I could turn it on but within a minute it would turn off. It was acting like the batter was dead even though I just fully charged it. So now I don't have anything to keep me warm. I'm so bummed.

I normally wear large coats, but by the recommendation of another review, I sized down. I do regret that a tiny bit, but the jacket fits pretty snug. I’ve been wearing it almost every day since I received it though. The jacket is very comfortable and stylish. I’m pretty particular about coats, but this one fit the bill very well. The wind does not sneak through this jacket either, which is nice because it keeps the warmth in. Though the battery pack does weigh the jacket down a bit, I understand that the power source is going to have some weight to it, so definitely not a huge complaint. I even accidentally spilled some water on it, but it she’s right off so the waterproofing is an A+ from me. All around a great product that I would definitely buy again
