I bought this in July 2023 and used it for the remainder of the mowing season. I have 3/4 acre of lawn. I attached it to a traditional red plastic 5 gallon gas container and used it to refill my John Deere riding mower fuel tank. It has worked flawlessly every time. Refilling my big mower fuel tank by hand with a 5 gallon gas can was far too big of a back strain on me and some fuel always spilled. Using this pump system has been so much better! No back strain, no fuel spills. When filling, you can speed adjust the fuel flow very simply with the nozzle trigger. When my mower tank is full, I shut off the pump, (important!) then hold the nozzle up to straighten the hose, squeeze the trigger and all the left over fuel drains back down into the gas can. BUT BE SURE THAT YOU SHUT OFF THE PUMP FIRST! I keep a bucket with a few rags in it next to the gas can to store the nozzle/hose assembly in, extra precaution for accidental spills. We camp a lot using a generator for power. I was constantly spilling gas on everything, with the "improved" spouts. This pump works great. Easy to use and easy to control the flow. Auto shutoff works great. I love it so much I purchased a 2nd one for use at home.

So I putchased this pump and I was happy. Very awesome product. But after 6 months of use, the motor cover at the end of the intake hose has fallen off, the pump now can't suck any gas I tries gluing the cover back on and it just keeps falling off, I have not been able to use the pump ever since, does anyone know how to get support for this issue, Thanks in advance. ... show more

About a year and a half ago, I was injured badly and have been laid up, unable to work like I used to. I bought this pump last winter, January 2023, to assist in filling my snow blower since I have a hard time holding the gas can up to fill the tank. I also used it last summer to fill my lawn mower, same reason. This winter, in Wisconsin, has been fairly mild. About a week ago, February 2024, after a recent surgery, we had a bit not snow and I need to clear a little. When I went to fill the snow blower, gas started spraying all over me, my gas can and snow blower. The hose had failed where it comes out of the pump control. One year. I had one year of use out of this. It would have had a great review, except I cost me $70 for one year of use. I could argue $10 a month for when I actually used it. The gas can was kept in my shed. No additives added to the gas by me. It wasn’t even that cold the last time I attempted to use it. It was much colder last winter when I actually was using it. Omg!! This thing is awesome. I feel like I’m at the gas station. No more back strain from trying to pour into the fuel spout.And no more leakage on to my feet and ground. However there was a tiny leak around the base cap.
