I love this portable speaker. I love the fact that it is heavily magnetized. I use it while working on my car, slapped it on the bottom hood of the car and enjoyed my music while tinkering with my car. The long battery life was a big plus. Very nice thumping bass. It serves my need for a nice on the job portable speaker that is also very rugged. The big plus here is ease of adding to my phone and tablet. The connectivity does not drop or sometime bluetooth earbuds scrambles the sound and everything is delayed or sounds robotic, maybe it’s my own experience with buying cheap bluetooth earbuds as I tend to lose them but I did experience this on my Beats earbuds pro too. Just saying! Is a Dewalt so to me that is quality like the power drills I have from Dewalt. I attached a sample of the bass, don’t mind it if you don’t like the genre but it’s my favorite.

I bought two of these speakers and pairing them with Auracast is the best part. It basically turns them into a full stereo setup with way bigger, more immersive sound. Even on their own the sound is really solid with clear vocals, good bass, and they get loud without distorting. I’ve used higher-end speakers before and these are right up there with them. The magnetic base is super handy too, they stick to any metal surface and stay put which makes them really easy to place anywhere. Battery life has been great and I don’t worry about using them outside since they handle water and dust with no issues. Overall just a really strong all around speaker setup.

Very rugged and durable. The IP67 rating is perfect for outdoor use, and the built-in magnet makes it easy to snap onto steel frames. Plenty loud with great battery life—highly practical.

I got this to replace my 3 years old Anker Soundcore 3 speaker that I use at the shop and at camp. 3 years of abuse and that speaker has shown signs of aging, and being a DeWalt tools user, I decided to give it a shot. I am not going to compare the two because it's not a fair fight - I wasn't using the Soundcore in the environment that it was designed for. What I like about the DeWalt: 1. Exterior material - the exterior material feels consistent with the DeWalt Tools I have, and given how my DeWalts stood up to years of grease, oil, and dropping on the ground, I know the exterior material will last. 2. Sound quality - the sound is good. I don't know how to explain it, but the sound is good. No distortion, no weird pitches. 3. Built in EQ - this allows me to further "tune" my speaker to match the type of music I am listening to and even though I am still playing with it, I already noticed differences among different EQs. 4. Magnet Mount - compared to traditional speakers (which I had to print a mount for to attach to my tool cart), I can just throw it on my metal tool cart and not worry about it. Now I can use the old mount as a cupholder! Easy Installation right here. 5. Charging is easy - just plug a USB C cable and it's good - no special cables needed. I also like the charging port cover - extra protection in a shop or nature against dirt, water, and other elements. What I am not so thrilled about: 1. Advertised 14 hour battery life - When working 10 hours day, 14 hours battery life is good enough (with extra 4 hours of run time). But that also means I have to charge it daily. Compared to my old speaker (24 hours run time), I will have to remember to plug it in daily at the end of day instead of every other day. That will need adjustment on my part. But still, would recommend.

I’m honestly impressed with this DEWALT speaker. The sound is way louder and clearer than I expected for the size, with solid bass, and easy EQ settings. Super easy to connect and paired right away on first turn on. Battery life has been great, and it feels durable like all my other DEWALT products. Definitely worth the purchase if you want a rugged Bluetooth speaker with surprisingly good sound quality and compact design for the jobsite.

These are the perfect size and the sound plus bass is amazing. I’ve tried it next to my hot tub and my peloton treadmill. Pairs perfectly with my phone and that linking function I think they call it auracast is game changing. These are probably the latest and greatest speakers out there and did I mention this size is just right for my picnics and pickleball trips?? Highly recommend them
