I used the saw over the weekend for the first time and was very surprised with the power and how long the batteries lasted. I used a 9H battery which I highly recommend using. I cleared a lot of 20 year old shrubs and several 4" diameter trees with no problem. Very happy with my new saw. The only down side is that it is more heavy than my old one. ... show more

I have a collection of DEWALT tools, so buying this was a no-brainer. I mainly use it for pruning jobs and for cutting down small trees where it excels using a Diablo pruning blade.
