The DEWALT DCHJ067B-L 20V/12V MAX Black Heated Hoodie (Bare) are part of the DEWALT Heated Jacket line up. This black heated hoodie features a durable wind resistant polyester outer shell, 3 core heating zones (Left/Right chest, and mid-back), 2 total pockets (zippered pockets for added protection), and a built in hood and collar with adjustable drawstrings. This hoodie features an LED controller with 3 temperature settings (high, med, low with pre-heat function), and are capable of running both 20V Max and 12V Max batteries, which will both provide hours of core body warmth and continuous heat. The battery pockets expands to accept DEWALT XR 4.0 Ah battery packets. There is also a USB power source with 2 USB power ports for charging portable electronic devices. This USB power features a new extension that allows you to place it in front or back pockets. This hoodie features re-enforced stitching on the cuffs, a robust metal zipper, drawstring in hood, and an added wind guard that blocks the wind from coming through the zipper. The hoodie fits very well. Without the battery it's very comfortable and durable. The cable for the battery can be routed to the front pocket near your chest or to the pocket on the back. I prefer the back because I do a lot of work with my hands, but if I have to drive a forklift I swap it over to the front. I work in a refrigerated food processing plant most of the day. Rather than wearing a big, bulky jacket I decided to go with this hoodie which provides extra warmth while still being light. The room is between 25-35F and it does well. When you turn on the hoodie it starts out in high heat, then after a few minutes it switches itself to low heat. At that point I usually crank it back up to high. My 3Ah slim Dewalt battery lasts about 2 days of moderate use. On a full battery I could keep it on high for an entire 10 hour shift which is pretty impressive. The next day it might die half way through the shift. I haven't tested with a 2Ah battery yet but I am optimistic about the results. Rated 4 stars because the battery is bulky and makes it a little bit uncomfortable. But if you have a lot of Dewalt stuff this goes well with the collection. The hoodie is fine, fit runs on the small side. Our major concern is that it was shipped without a power adapter. Jacket is unusable in current situation. Unfortunately returning the entire item is the only option.

I use this jacket daily. I even use it my desk at work - I rotate my batteries and this keeps me warm all day long. I bought another one for my son when camping. What I like about this jacket is I can finally use my dewalt batteries when I'm not using them in my tools.
