I've been using an old HF Bauer 1/2 inch impact wrench for years now. It doesn't have any issues besides the batteries being absolutely terrible. At least, this is what I thought until I bought this Dewalt. This thing is next level. First, the size is so much smaller than the old Bauer. No clue about the new Bauer. But the pure power this thing has is amazing. And I love the settings on it. I normally just keep it on 1 for the 150 pounds of feet. It's perfect for lug nuts and pretty much 99% of mechanic stuff. But for those rusty stubborn bolts/nuts, you can kick it up to setting 2 for 300 pounds of feet. I love it. ... show more

So far works great! I’ve had this impact driver for about 4 months and have used it a handful of times on my car. The breakaway torque is more than enough for everything I’ve tried it on (wheels, rear shocks, entire front suspension). I’m not sure if it would be able to break loose the bolt on my crank pulley, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. I bought this alongside the kit with the drill, small impact driver, and two batteries, so I’m using the 2Ah batteries instead of the larger batteries they sell. So far I’ve used it off and on for 4 months and haven’t had the batteries go dead on me yet! ... show more
