I have a Harbor Freight hand truck. The plastic for the wheels cracked off one wheel rendering the hand truck useless. These wheels were a direct fit. Pull the cotter pin, remove the washer and wheel, slide the new wheel on, replace the washer and cotter pin (or install a new cotter pin). We used these on a driveway gate. The gate has wheels to help it open and close easily over the gravel. We needed replacement wheels and took a gamble that these would work. They did! They are actually better than the wheels that came with the gate.

Upon picking one up, I was shocked by the weight of these casters. Very solid, cast aluminum hub and a very heavy-duty (solid) tire and bearings. For the price, these are very impressive. Unfortunately for my application they did not work out as the rubber tire is more like a hard-ish plastic. No durometer spec was provided but my primary reason for getting these was to replace the hard plastic cheapo wheels on a cart that made a huge racket every time I wheeled it down the driveway. I never mounted these because the rubber tire is about the same hardness as the current wheel so I didn’t expect any improvement.
