An angle grinder is an absolute must have, it's the tool you use when all else fails because it can do everything, and the DeWalt one is just great. The paddle switch is a bit of a pain if you're trying to run this one-handed but that's the only complaint I have, otherwise it's a wonderful tool.

I love my angle grinder from Dewalt! Purchased to complete a patio extension in our backyard. Used this tool to cut pavers we used to make the extension. Plenty of power! Make sure you get some larger capacity batteries to pir with the tool if you plan on heavy cutting/grinding. I would go through 3-4 (7ah cells) every day and charge every night. ... show more

Contractor of 30 yrs experience here. It's pretty good, only bought because my truck is all Dewalt. My corded Makita's are amazing! This feels too long and off balance for some reason...Dewalt?! The quick change system is pretty nice though.

As part of a full renovation of a main bathroom, including the installation of ceramic tile on the floor, and in the custom walk-in shower, I knew that I would need a grinder to finish inside and outside corners that I couldn’t cut with the wet saw. I’ve been a big fan of Dewalt and have several other cordless products and this grinder was a great addition to my tool set. It was safe, simple, and easy to use for the bathroom renovation. I have no doubt that I will be using this product for other projects as they come up. My pro tip here is regarding battery life and this product. While I didn’t purchase an additional battery, knowing that I already had three, I did notice that battery life was somewhat limited. No worries, knowing that I had to back ups, fully charged, I had no problem rotating them through and this did not in any way interfere with me getting the job done. ... show more
