Bought adaptors to convert my old 18V tools to these new batteries. They work amazing! I charged one two months ago and am still using it (hobby farm, light personal mechanic work). Started using another just to have one in two tools and didn't even charge it before powering my saw.

You can't get better than the actual name brand DeWalt batteries. These are an upgrade over the 2 hour batteries that come with the tools. The 4 pack at $40 each is the best value among DeWalt batteries. If you work a full day with multiple tools, having 4 batteries can save the day.
