    • The Ultimate Shop Radio — Rugged, Loud, and Perfect for Bluetooth!
I bought this DeWalt radio as a Christmas gift for my dad, and it has been a total game-changer for his workshop and his outdoor projects. He spends a lot of time in his shop, and this was exactly what he needed to modernize his setup. The Real-World Wins: Bluetooth Connectivity: The main reason I chose this was so he could connect his phone and stream his Spotify playlists. The pairing is seamless, and the 100-foot range is legit—he can move around the shop or the yard without the music cutting out. Sound Quality: For a portable unit, the sound is impressive. It’s loud and clear enough to be heard over running power tools or wind noise when he's working outside, and the audio doesn't get distorted at higher volumes. Outdoor Durability: This thing is built like a tank. It’s designed to handle the elements, so he doesn't have to worry about a little bit of mist or outdoor dust. The roll cage design gives me peace of mind that it can withstand the inevitable drop on a driveway or shop floor. Versatile Power: It’s surprisingly lightweight for how rugged it is, making it easy for him to carry from the workbench to the patio. The Verdict: Whether you're already in the DeWalt battery ecosystem or just need a rugged speaker that can handle the abuse of a shop and the outdoors, this is a fantastic investment. It’s practical, durable, and makes a killer gift for any handyman! ... show more

    • Awesome radio for Dewalt users
Best portable radio on the market if you have other Dewalt products! We have used this for many years now almost everyday and it works perfectly. Has great volume settings and can get loud. Stays charged for the whole day of use and some. It is the Dewalt coloring yellow and black. The screen lights up blue to easily see the station, volume, and more settings. Easy to power on and off or can even plug in to electrical outlet to use. It does have a bulky size but is a great product. It is built to last. ... show more

    • Shop Radio as it should be!
TLDR: It's a radio in a roll cage. Yes it does Bluetooth. It's pretty dang good! This is me smiling back at my 20+ year old self and saying it gets better bro. This is by far the best jobsite radio I have ever had and for one really good reason, It's just a Radio (w/BT) and not trying to be anything else. It has The speakers are nice for their size and have a good sound with an EQ to help things along. Also, this thing feels substantial and has a roll cage to boot. I feel like it could actually take the same abuse my tools can. Great job DeWalt! ... show more

    • Great radio
Great radio!! We always had one on the job sites in the past, but this one has bluetooth and phone/USB charger in it, works off the dewalt batteries used in the hand tools and has great range and sound. The only small drawback is the wire mesh over the speakers seems to rust easily. We live at the coast so the salt air must do it. Otherwise a great portable radio ... show more

    • So far so good
4 Star for now....... Maybe a little pricey, but so far so good. We use on the job site daily. I'll give it a year and see how it holds up to the daily abuse.

    • Excellent quality and sound.
I already have several DeWalt tools and have yet to be disappointed. The radio is no exception. Quality at a value price

    • Durable and Loud
Great radio. Enjoy it very much. Volume is more than sufficient. I discovered that going into settings on your I phone and turning off the safety settings for sound greatly increases the play volume of this radio. Battery life seems very good also.
