This shed seems to be designed to storage trash cans. It has two chains that can be hooked up to the lid of the trash can so that when you open the cover of the shed up, the trash can will be opened at the same time. I used this as a storage shed to store some tools. The installation steps are straightforward; the manual is clearly written and the parts are well marked. Nothing is really twisted, but it's very time consuming. Be warned, it's a two-man job, and it takes about 2-3 hours to fully set this up. That's the only pain point I'd complain. This shed is ok+. The instructions are clear, but the installation itself is very complex. Putting the cover together is the most difficult thing. This is not Ikea level of ease to assemble and it will take 2-3hours even if you are mechanically inclined. Everything feels super flimsy separately, but once assembled it feels relatively sturdy. Packing: Packing was very professional, and in perfect shape. No broken parts from shipping. So I guess the seller addressed the reviews. Issues: One of the thick metal braces was missing one of the holes, and the lock doesn't really align. So def be prepared to drill some holes modify some things. Considering that there are like 1000 screws this is like <1% of the holes missing. We bought it to hide two bikes in our garage in our condo (in case someone leaves the garage door open). The door of the shed is BARELY wide enough to let an adult bike go in. Once inside, two adult bikes fit ok in a diagonal. ... show more

Great product. I was skeptical when I read reviews that it takes 2 people and 4 hours to out together. It was so true!! It is a 2 person job and took my wife and I 4 hours. The roof is most complicated. Numerous steps in one picture. Lol

They should have made how to video because the sheds instructions were not that simple to understand or follow. The pre drilled holes didn’t actually match up on some parts. The rear hinge holes were too small and I couldn’t even get the screws in flush. All together I had a negative experience, when I opened it up I immediately realize that I wanted to return it but unfortunately unlike everything else on Amazon I had to request the return from the seller instead of Amazon and the seller specifically said on the box to call them for any problems not Amazon, so I highly doubt that I was gonna get my money back easily. So instead I had to keep this overly complicated and not well put together garbage ... show more

the construction quality of the parts make it difficult to assemble, the thicker metal pieces have the holes for the screws drilled too small. I didn't have a drill bit to make the hole slightly bigger myself, so i had to take a single screw to sacrfice. I took each metal part of similar construction and hole size, layed them out on the ground, and had to use my entire body weight on my drill to drive the screw into each hole so that they would be ready for assembly. Giant pain in the ass. It's a fine shed for the price otherwise, and possible I just got a faulty shipment. If you have a nice drill and bits for going through thick metal, then you'll be fine. If all you have is a screwdriver and low patience, do not buy this, as you will not be able to put it together. ... show more

I bought this to keep my generator out of the weather and to provide ventilation when it's running. It was easy to put together. 2 of us spent about 8 hours assembling it. Hint : don't tighten the screws up until every thing is together. Things don't fit together if the screws are too tight. Tighten them after wards. After it was assembled it was light enough that we could pick it up and move it to the location where we actually wanted it. Then anchored it down. The hydrolic shock that helps lift the roof/lid is too strong. It extends but doesn't collapse when you close the lid. We didn't attach them instead we attach them when we need to open it and then they hold the lid up. This keeps my generator dry and there's enough room inside to add shelves for starting fluid and oil and gas cans. I insulated the sides with some foam otherwise the generator sounds twice as loud when it runs. ... show more

This is a great shed for the price point. The instructions are easy to follow and the components clearly labeled. The only downsides are the patience and time requirements for assembly. Thus far, it's working well for our purposes.

This shed is the most complicated one I have ever tried to assemble. Holes are missing, parts are hard to understand as to how it is to be assembled. There is no written guideline just a booklet with with assembly diagrams. We got the bottom assembled in about 7 hours. You notice I said we. Do not attempt this by yourself. As to the roof, I'm tempted to just metal screw the damn 10 to the framework of the bottom part of the shed. Not a happy camper. ... show more
