Detroit Golf Co. Swing Speed Training System Includes 3 full length golf clubs each with specific weights (Green 285g weight, Blue 315g weight, Red 355g weight) Increase your club head speed 45 inches in length, 60 gram graphite shafts Minimal training time per week to see results For a training routine use the following guideline: 1. Start with the green trainer and swing 3 times on your natural swing side. 2. Repeat with the blue and red trainers. 3. Switch to the other side and repeat steps 1 and 2. 4. Swing with a “baseball style” or “step through swing” starting with the green trainer and swing 3 times on your natural swing side. 5. Repeat with the blue and red trainers. 6. Switch to the other side and repeat steps 4 and 5. 7. Finally, take the green trainer and swing it 6 times at full speed on your natural swing side with a golf club style swing. Please note this routine should done at maximum speed and effort. This a workout; please make sure you use a short rest period between sets.

If you are a golfer you've most likely heard of swing speed trainer. I have a friend who has one, after seeing his I thought it was way over priced. I started looking on Amazon and come across this, half the price of the swing speed. When it arrived it was exactly the same thing other than not saying SS. It doesn't come with any work out info, just use the swing speed training. I am really happy with the Detroit swing trainers. They are very good quality and price was significantly less than the Super Speed. From my comparisons, they seem to be just about the same. I was fairly skeptical that I would see any improvement, but after several weeks of use (3X a week), I have seen a consistent ~3-4% increase in speed as described. There are plenty of workout videos on YouTube if you do a quick search. For me, it's a notable increase and exactly what I was looking for. Just as good as more expensive brand. I read that with more expensive brand, if 1 club breaks, you have to buy a whole set. Same with these so why spend the extra $?

Very good set of “speed sticks.” I was skeptical at first, didn’t think these were going to be any good. Didn’t receive a set of instructions on how to use them effectively. I eventually figured them out. I did notice my drives picked up a few yards. I’m 72 so picking up a few yards is big deal. I’ll be working more with them late in the winter and early spring. I want to have my swing speed up to blow by the other old guys. I need a swing speed monitor now to really get down in my training. ... show more

These sticks do the job just like any other of this design. Have accidentally taken a divot and they did not break. They do have a very strong odor, requiring a several week de-gassing period. The length of these sticks is 45.5" so they may be too long if your driver is shorter.
