  • Pretty fancy
I’ve never installed slotted or cross drilled rotors when replacing brake rotors before. I also didn’t install the parts myself so I cannot speak to the how easily they installed but the mechanic didn’t complain so I’ll assume everything fit nicely. I don’t think there is a noticeable difference in the normal braking power vs non-drilled and slotted rotors, but I can say since I’ve installed these new (front and rear) pads and rotors the brakes on my older Ford Flex are as responsive as they ever have been. They add a tiny bit of flash to an old car and if they perform as well or better, then they are worth it. I don’t recall seeing plain rotors with as high a rating as these have cheaper, so I didn’t spend more to get the drilled and slotted rotors. Even if it’s just for show, I don’t remember having rotors that look as new and shiny as these peeking out of my car’s wheels. And they work really well. ... show more

  • Excellent upgrade!
Just returned from a trip to the mountains in Pennsylvania. I was pulling a pop-up camper and was very happy to have these brakes! Did a great job and handle heavy loads better than the OEM discs. Highly recommended as an upgrade! I now have these on the front and back and have much better stopping power. ... show more

  • Good buy.
Nice kit fits well, everything needed was in there. Does have a little bit more noose than the oe setup but seems to be wearing well.

  • Best bang for buck
Brings my Flex to a stop quickly and quietly! They look great and are performing great. They were easy enough to install if you've done brakes before. These were so good that I'm going to be installing a similar set on my mother's vehicle!

Quality Detroit axle brake kit!

  • Brake noise
So I bought the kit for my 2011 Ford Flex. Install was simple, if you know how to do brakes. After about 3 days they started having a roar when slowing down, after 7 days I went and bought some pads from the parts store. All was good until a few days later, the roar was back. So o went and bought new rotors from the parts store, been riding noise free every since. All the while I’ve been in contact with these people all they say is, “it’s excessive brake dust building up that’s making the noise”, after 2 days? Ha. They said all they can do is send new pads no refund. Good job Detroit Axle. Would not recommend! ... show more

  • Good value
Appeared to be of good quality, fit perfectly in 2011ford escape.

  • Worked great
Surprisingly these were of fairly good quality steel. So far, after 2k miles, they are still true and causing no noise or vibrations. For the dollar value, these seem to be as good as some better-named brands of brake parts.
