    • Great So Far After 2 Months of Service
I bought these to replace the brakes on all 4 wheels of my wife's 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Everything arrived nicely and very fast, and well packaged for something so heavy - grateful they sent this in multiple boxes because of the weight, too. I had my mechanic install them because I know it would have been a pain without a lift, and they charged me 2 hours of their labor rate to install everything and said it was a nice little kit. 2 months later I have no complaints at all, nor does the wife. The van stops on a dime, no real brake dust issues at all, and they are extremely quiet. I had the front right caliper seize up on the van yesterday and had the mechanic look at the pads and rotor on everything while he was checking hoses and bleeding the brakes again to fix that issue, and he said they all looked great. My one tip would be certain to get your brake hoses checked while doing this, and if your car has over 100k miles on it, just pro-actively replace ALL your hoses. If I had known to do that I would have saved myself $200 in towing and repair fees from a seized caliper. I don't believe this equipment had ANYTHING to do with that failure, but it is just one of those tips you learn as you go. ... show more

I saved nearly 50% on the price of rotors and pads over the local auto parts store. I have often used Detroit Axle parts from different sellers in the past and have never been disappointed. There was a concern at first about fitment and quality. No one wants to be in the middle of a repair job (or finished) and find that the parts are wrong or defective, then have to wait for shipping returns to complete the work. Order parts for brakes on a 2006 Grand caravan SXT parts were installed easily the only thing was it was missing brake part clips so I had to use the existing clips to complete the job of installation but I am impressed with the parts themselves that they are doing a great job and I would like to hear anyone else that has ordered this combination kit if they did the same thing by not receiving all the parts for the brake pads otherwise Detroit Axle I believe you have great existing carts that could work for any backyard mechanic. ... show more

The parts arrived in great time. I was able to get the brakes done with ones that fit and were cheaper than box stores. The only draw back which is why it’s not 5 stars is that the pads seem To produce more brake dust than others I’ve used.

    • Horrible product.
I have had these brakes on my car since November 6th 2019. It is November 12th 2019, and they have already failed. They have less than 300 miles, and failed in 6 days. The brakes have squealed since install, and now are grinding. I have installed hundreds of brake pads and rotors since I used to work in an automotive shop, and I know they were installed correctly. I realize they are cheap, but I am broke and cannot afford to install the best parts at the moment. Do not waste your time with these. ... show more
