Good quality wood but only basic, minimal parts included
Comes without a top and considering the price, that was very disappointing. My son says it’s meant be hung on a wall, not sit on the ground but I needed it to be on the floor. Besides, it weighs too much to be hung on a wall in my 1965 built house. Now, I have ordered a butcher block as the top and also doors and drawers knobs. The wood quality is great. The size is perfect for my needs. It could also use some legs.

Quality Product
Ordered this 42" wide cabinet from Amazon versus paying an extra $200-$400 from DYI store for an assembled unit. Was concerned after reading the reviews, but figured I'd take a chance. They must have improved things since some of the earlier reviews as mine arrived undamaged and all parts were included. Directions for assembly were straight forward for someone who is moderately handy. Fit and finish was very good and cabinet is sturdy after assembly. It does require wood glue for assembly, but comes with reinforcements for corners to ensure cabinet is square. Note it does not come with drawer knobs / pulls so these need to be purchased separately, but overall have to give it 5-stars given the quality and value versus buying an assembled unit for considerably more.

Expect some damages from shipping and poor workmanship from the assembly factory.
Be prepared to have to do some slight carpentry rapairs (i.e., rapairing damaged corners with glue, sanding and touh up paint, re-aligning the crooked installed angle brackets, etc.) if you want a professionally looking assembly. Also, the drawer rails do not align properly, you will have to re-drill in order to get the drawers to slide and close correctly. No matter how you flip and adjust the existing rails they do nto work properly with out modifications.

Item was damaged
Item was dropped off and box was damaged along with the cabinet. Where we were using it, the damage was in multiple places and wouldve been seen. Returned cabinet.

Damaged
I got this. Opened the box (damaged) and then had to use LOTS OF GLUE to put it together. The Drawers are great and sturdy with dovetail joints, but the cabinet is flimsy and had many imperfections - including the bottom was not square and too large - had to use lots of glue on it. The damages were not going to be seen where I used it (between wall and stove) so I kept it. Didn't feel like going through it all again. Take my advice and get one from the DIY Store. You don't worry about damages that way.
