We have plantation shutters for all of our windows so I wanted something that somewhat matched them and this really does look like real blinds. Our sidelight has lightly textured glass and I know clings are recommended for flat glass only, but I thought I would at least try this to see if it would work. After I liberally sprayed the window with water, I had no problem getting the film to stick. Once it was in place, I trimmed it to size using an exacto knife and then placed very small pieces of invisible tape in the corners just to be sure it stays. Included with the film was a hard plastic piece to use to get the bubbles out. I still need to go over it again but I wanted to jump on here to leave my review and share a picture. I am impressed that these truly do look like blinds. With the lightly textured glass, the film has given us the right amount of privacy along with blocking out our HOT Florida sun and heat! PS What’s awesome IMO about this is, if you don’t like how it looks, it’s easily taken down and easily reapplied. You just can’t go wrong!

I didn't realize until I received the film was too narrow for the height of the window with lines go horizontal. I would have to cut two separate strips and align and hang. Forget that and I hung it with strips going vertical. Still looks good and I think it is easier to make things out looking out. Was a real pain to get all the bubbles out though. That took the longest time.

Our homes are close and we didn’t know what to put in two tall, skinny windows in our kitchen. After seeing something similar a neighbor had used I decided to give it a try, voila’ it’s just what I was looking for. It made the kitchen area a little darker so we decided to leave the top “12 open. It blends in with our fabric shades and doesn’t take away from the look since the rooms are all open. Next, I’m ordering for a back door and will use a large strip in the middle of that door, then will put on windows into our garage. I did also order a tool kit to use, exacto type knife and squeegee to remove the bubble. It was easy, only took 30 minutes from start to finish for both windows. Very very pleased with the outcome.

My cats are window perchers, but 1 cat in particular can utterly destroy a miniblind in under 5 minutes. Possible solutions I found online suggested wood or faux wood blinds. BOTH of which can be expensive. I stumbled upon the white miniblind pattern when purchasing privacy film for our bathroom window. Some reviews provided photos, and it truly did appear as miniblinds when applied to windows so I took a chance this may solve my problem with miniblind destruction. It absolutely looks like miniblinds from inside AND out. The temperature of my kitchen also came down several degrees without the sun beating through the window. This product could NOT be easier to apply. A rotary cutter ensures clean edges. Tips from other users solved removal of the clear film backing (blue painters tape did the job). Spray water and apply. If there's too many bubbles, peel it off and start again. It's mistake proof as opposed to something like contact paper with adhesive. Anyone claiming they don't stick, has either NOT removed the clear film, is applying the wrong side or hasn't used enough water. Our window has to be repaired. So I will be able to remove the privacy film and reapply once it's done. Nothing wasted. Onto the blackout miniblind pattern to see if I can get as good of a result in our master bedroom windows. My husband is really impressed and thats not an easy achievement. It's just THAT simple. It takes longer to gather tools, measure and cut them than to apply. Again, the rotary cutter, worked much better than a utility knife or scissors. Easily cut through the film leaving straight, clean cuts.

I thought this was opaque on outside and clear on inside so I could see out but it is completely opaque. It also sticks on with water. As soon as I put it up it was full of air bubbles which were hard to remove completely. I gave it three stars because it feels heavy and I think good guality.

I really like the Privacy film. But was very disappointed that the accessories that I needed to put it up was not in the box I had to come up with my own way of putting them on my windows. I’m sure the cost of the accessories was in the price , although it’s says free. The packers should make sure all the contents are in the box before taping it up. I will buy these again
